The judge who benched the band: U. S. District Court Judge Carlton Reeves, an Obama appointee.

Nothing revitalizes a religion more than someone trying to stamp it out. That is so great that people are singing How Great Thou Art in the stands.

By the way, I have to say that this judge looks like Emmitt Smith, and I hate the Cowboys.

And, who ever saw a blonde Muslima?

Did he follow law and/or precedent?

I wonder if the instigators can be arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. The judge clearly prohibited the exercise of religion at school events. The school is outside the First Amendment zone.

Some might. It's hard to tell with their "ninja suits" on.

Well, I'd point out that a spontaneous song from individuals in the stands is not a school-sanctioned event or performance. It is an individual's free exercise of religion.

The Constitution is a living, breathing document. The First Amendment has been interpreted to only apply inside of First Amendment zones.

I think you are wrong in this case, and I also suspect you are playing Devil's Advocate.

I'm complaining AND illustrating where we are headed with the current crop of judges on the bench.
