He is still saying the right things. (Before anyone else says it, yes, talk is cheap.)

Speaking to an Alabama radio host Friday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump discussed his religious views and vowed to fight the so-called war on Christmas.

“There’s an assault on anything having to do with Christianity,” Trump said on Yellowhammer Radio with Cliff Sims on Friday. “They don’t want to use the word Christmas anymore at department stores.”

“There’s always lawsuits and unfortunately a lot of those lawsuits are won by the other side,” Trump said. “I will assault that. I will go so strongly against so many of the things, when they take away the word Christmas.”

Added Trump: “I go out of my way to use the word Christmas.”

As much as I LOVE this, he also goes out of his way to dump wives for younger versions. Not the most Christian attitude. On the other hand, if he can see it's a problem, and work towards fixing it, that's what matters, I suppose.

What we really need to know (as you've hinted Perianne), is perhaps unknowable: Is this just politician vote-getting BS, or does he mean it?

:dunno:

Do you really want someone with FOUR bankruptcies to help manage our economy?

I'm replying to the thread subject. You should start a thread about his bankruptcies to discuss.

It follows his trademark outspoken behavior... but honestly I have no idea what his religious beliefs are, I can only take the man at his word on that.

It's a good move politically, because that's going to resonate with the Christian base in this country. Every year we see stories about schools and towns bending to the demands of a few atheists / satanists / muzzies and others who are "offended" by Christmas displays or plays.

His religious beliefs:

People are so shocked when they find ... out I am Protestant. I am Presbyterian. And I go to church and I love God and I love my church," he said.

Moderator Frank Luntz asked Trump whether he has ever asked God for forgiveness for his actions.

"I am not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don't think so," he said. "I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don't bring God into that picture. I don't."

Trump said that while he hasn't asked God for forgiveness, he does participate in Holy Communion.

Trump goes out of his way to say the word Christmas, he see's the assault on Christianity and is talking about it, this guy is at least talking the complete opposite of what Obama has done, if he follows through with it I believe he may be one of the best presidents we have had in a long time. And the man says he wont do away with assault weapons, in fact he says we need them for protection now a days, guns that is not so much assault rifles, he says he will not mess at all with the 2nd.

It’s August of 2015, and you’re probably sweating your behind off. Christmas isn’t coming for another four months, and a Donald Trump (http://conservativetribune.com/illegal-immigrant-made-mistake/) presidency isn’t coming until January of 2017.
What The Donald thinks about the secular left’s war on Christmas is probably the last thing on your mind, given that you’re probably either frantically gearing up for kids going back to school or breathing a huge sigh of relief now that they have. Rest assured, though, Trump is thinking about the war on Christmas.
In a radio interview Friday, Trump declared war on those who would make war on Christmas, saying he went out of his way to use the name of the holiday instead of saying “Season’s Greetings.”

Do you really want someone with FOUR bankruptcies to help manage our economy?

Why don't you educate yourself first before opening your left leaning mouth...

Pay attention and read the fine print:

`From..The 10 Biggest Media Lies About Donald Trump`

`Critics says he inherited a fortune from his family and has declared bankruptcy several times. But Trump's father had a net wealth estimated at between $250 million and $400 million at the time of his death, and he had "four surviving children who were heirs" so Trump is responsible for accumulating the great bulk of his fortune.

*Trump has never personally declared bankruptcy. *Some businesses he controlled or licensed his name have, but this is not unusual for a mogul who has owned hundreds of properties and businesses through the years.`

Forbes magazine researchers have placed his worth at $4 billion, while Trump asserts that he is worth $10 billion. A disclosure document recently released by the Federal Election Commission lists 515 different positions and 168 assets and sources of income for Trump.

The assets include 23 that are valued at more than $50 million each. Many items require that he check the box marked "$50 million or more" when they could be worth considerably more, meaning Trump's fortune may be `higher than the disclosure` suggests."

Trump was asked the question about declaring bankruptcy ( I thought it was 6 times ) but he answered it quite well, he used the system and did everything legal to benefit from it, but no he has never declared Bankruptcy, he has had businesses that went bankrupt. And as he explained the night he was asked the question, anyone with that kind of money knows how to use the system to keep making money, might be a good idea to have someone like him that knows how to make money in the WH, instead of folks that just know how to spend.

TF time to join the TRUMP train !!!

For a guy that talks about making money all the time by suing people and so on, this guy should be your hero.

My Grandfather worked for the Trump family back in the 1930's.

They gave him a job, DURING THE DEPRESSION.

Donald Trump is like his Father. A tough, hard nosed, results driven businessman.

Their is one thing you cant deny. That despite the brash exterior and the Bravado...

TRUMP GET RESULTS. He Motivates people. He demands excellence.

Trump hates Politics.... He'd treat the Oval Office as a place of BUSINESS.

Maybe... Just MAYBE he ia a wake up call that the days of PC Politics as usual...ARE OVER.
