Why didn't Islamic militants blow up abortion clinics, homosexual bars, distilleries?

Islamic militants are against abortion, homosexuality, and alcohol. Why didn't they take their rage out on the objects of their outrage? Why did they attack New York instead of Las Vegas (sin city)? It seems they can't even follow their own teachings. I wonder if Operation Rescue would have sympathized with the Islamic militants if those militants blew up abortion clinics.
