Looks like perhaps Trump wasn't so far off after all.

------

Look at the photo below and read what Senator Howard stated back in 1866 about the 14th - which HE wrote. Here is a link to his speech: http://www.yale.edu/lawweb/jbalkin/conlaw/senatorhowardspeechonthefourteenthamendment.pdf

But then in 1982, Justice Brennan left a footnote that changed everything. On the footprint, the idiot writes:

“no plausible distinction with respect to Fourteenth Amendment ‘jurisdiction’ can be drawn between resident aliens whose entry into the United States was lawful, and resident aliens whose entry was unlawful.”

With the actual original intent in mind, I DO think they should contest this, and I do think they would win. It should cease going forward, IMO.

The 14th clearly did not intend to include illegals... I really don't even know how the problem of Anchor Babies even became an issue, it's common sense that it doesn't apply to illegals' babies.

Is this piss Gunny off week, or what?

I agree. The 14th does not include illegals. A dumbass judicial ruling does. It's about as good as the leftwingnut interpretation of the 2nd Amendment. Reading words and inserting meanings that don't exist.
