I am on vacation this week and have really enjoyed it. I like it when they pay you for not working; money for nothin'.
I have been redoing my deck. I took down all the rails and posts, pulled up the decking, and have been putting all new in. I had never done any work to a deck before and it has been a fun challenge. So far, only a few mistakes, but nothing I could not correct.
The worst part was pulling up the old decking. They had used those crazy twist nails and they did not want to come up. It took me a whole day to do just that.
I should have been a carpenter!
