Sometimes I imagine what it would be like if we all walked around with visible thought bubbles over our head. Can you imagine the trouble we'd all get into every day? Thank goodness for the ability to keep our thoughts to ourselves!

Speak for yourself. Like Ron White said in his comedy act: I may have the right to remain silent, just not the ability.

I would be fired. My husband would be fired. Our parents would have go into hiding. Totally fucked indeed.

Actually Abbey. If you think about it. IF that bubble idea could work. Most of the Americans today would have EMPTY ONES over their heads. A large number of Americans have NO IDEA what is taking place...from minute to minute. So they actually LACK the ability to THINK on their own. It's called Dependence on Government.

Might as well just shoot me now and get it over with. Thought bubbles over MY head? That doesn't seem like a good idea.

I wish more people would take advantage of this ability.

Not good, not good at all. I'm a very judgmental person, I admit it, but I usually zip it and keep it to myself. If people could see my thoughts, they would gasp in horror. Yup, that's right, the guy you all thought was sparkling angel is really a dirty bastard! :coffee:

Obvious answer to you, Gabby ... move to the UK, and hang around outside Labour Party HQ. You'll feel right at home.

[You'd need to avoid Tottenham, N London, though (as, indeed, you DID) ... once you discovered the truth about London's 'Socialist Paradise', and started thinking about it honestly ....]

My thoughts are thus. While waiting in line at the check out yesterday in the supermarket, I looked around and thought, "I can't believe their is not one good looking woman in this crowded store"

Beating needed in checkout #4 ladies!

A guy told me one time that I would be shocked if I knew the thoughts that men have. I told him HE would be shocked if he knew the thoughts women have.

The problem with thought bubbles for women is that they'd be gigantic. Women overthink everything.

if people could read the minds of politicians they'd all be out of work and on the streets or dead by nightfall.

I doubt many of us would get past a first date.
Guy is talking about himself, woman acts interested but is really thinking, "Boring. I wish they'd bring the food".
Woman is talking about herself, guy is thinking, "Boring. I wonder if those are D's?"

And these are the relatively clean thoughts. I know it gets much worse.

Imagine thought bubbles while you are in, or are giving, an employee review!

We nurses have discussed how our patients would feel if they really knew what we think about them. It probably works both ways, though.

My Mommy did. :)

And for example, today I popped out for a tad, and I had my dress casual on, and put one a nice dressy long sleeved shirt, my haircut is very short right now, some good cologne, my shoes and not my boots.... You would be surprised, some dumbasses out there mistake me for a clean cut and nice kinda guy!!
