Just saw Everest in 3D. In comfy huge reclining seats. I've never been so comfortable and not-bothered by other people at a movie.

It is based on a true story, and was very well done. I'd recommend it.

I used to foolishly think I'd like to climb it. After seeing this movie, I'm not so sure.

Everest was definitely a well done movie. And a powerful testament to importance of being able to say "no".

In the wake of the movie's success, it is great that both Nepal and China have banned novice climbers from Everest. You now need documented proof that you have successfully scaled at least one major peak before you are granted a permit.
