Nero had a vet appointment yesterday and the shots made him feel under the weather, so he got to use the Chihuahua's bed! I may just give it to him, Porter prefers to go under blankets anyway.

He looks smaller in that picture, not sure why, but he's not huge by any means. He's about 1.5 years old now and he weighed in yesterday at just a tad over 11lbs.

Does he steal stuff from the neighbors and bring it back? LOL I just read about a cat that steals stuff from all over the neighborhood. It was so bad that the cat owner put a box out front of the house with a sign for people to retrieve their stolen property!

He looks like the male twin of my female. Only she has a bit of white on her tummy that looks like a white bikini. Beautiful light green eyes, sleek black fur.

My cat comes back smelling like another house which gives suspicion that he is a traitor who is taking food from someone else. Also my cats breath stinks.;)

Of course cat are traitors. They allow you to take care of them and live in their houses, feed them and clean their litter box. You have NO other purpose in life to them.

100% agree. No loyalty at all;)!

One thing that gives me and my cat mutual pleasure is rubbing his belly which he pulls the hair off.

I have to keep remembering you're a Brit. We have this insurance company commercial on TV here where the guy is sinking in quicksand while the cat stoicly looks on. The guys trying to get the cat to go get help. The commentator comes on as says "If you're a ct, you ignore people. That's what you do."

I find it hillarious because I've always had cats since I was a kid and it's SO true. :laugh:

No one owns a cat. Cats own you.
In the cat's world, they are officers and you are the PFC on permanent latrine and mess hall duty. Learn your place and no one will get hurt. :cool:

"You have not met Royalty until you have owned a cat"...

"You're Nobody until you've been ignored by a cat";

"In this house, the cat is in charge"!

Mine is such a scamp. He gets into everything...
Bites and scratches, but too cute to get mad at.
