Ms Church attacked those on Twitter who had ridiculed her climate change observation.

She said they should 'go do some research - come back to me and we'll have a conversation about 'the real world''.

Ms Church also shared a message on Twitter that read: 'That [BBC Question Time] audience was not representative of the Wales I know and live in. Mostly ill informed. Mainly right wing.'

During last night's episode Ms Church also praised Jeremy Corbyn's vow never to use nuclear weapons.

Charlotte Church is a Welsh Labour supporter (obviously). FJ will therefore be delighted that yet another Leftie agrees with him on opposition to austerity measures ...

Those with the "black lives matter" don't seem to be the slightest bit interested with black folks being annihilated in Africa, and other regions of the world.

new poll:
13% of Americans prefer death by Meteor over Clinton or Trump
A shocking new poll indicates that 13% of American voters would prefer a giant meteor causing an apocalyptic firestorm over the planet over supporting either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton for president. This means that a flying space rock is more likely to reach the 15% threshold to participate in general election debates than Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein.

That is according to a poll by left-leaning Public Policy Polling (PPP) which included the Giant Meteor option in its latest survey. 43% of respondents favored Hillary Clinton, 38% selected Donald Trump and 13% threw up their arms to welcome the Giant Meteor as the country’s new head of state. 7% of voters stated that they were undecided between Hillary, Trump, and an apocalyptic meteor.

The Giant Meteor enjoys support across the partisan spectrum securing a 23% favorability rating among liberal voters, a 21% positive rating among conservative voters, and viewed as a potential option by 16% of moderate voters indicating that the space rock’s support may grow in the coming months.

Men are much more likely to support the Giant Meteor than women indicating that many Donald Trump supporters would ditch the Republican nominee if only a speeding ball of fire would inject itself in the general election race.

The Giant Meteor seems to be absorbing support from the Bernie Sanders camp securing a whopping 27% of non-partisan voters, a group that disproportionately favored the progressive firebrand, compared to 31% for Trump and 35% for Clinton.

The Giant Meteor enjoys a broad base of support that extends well-beyond real-life third party candidates with Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson only securing 5% support and the Green Party’s Jill Stein securing only 2% of the electorate in a simulated match-up.

The survey of 853 registered voters was conducted via landlines and the internet from June 27-28 with a margin of error of 3.4%.

And I keep minimizing it, a few short sentences about the SC and the 2nd amendment. But look at how these folks decide things, what they say when doing so. Hell, look at Ginsburg alone and Trump - do you think she could even remotely be impartial? I sure don't. Imagine 2 more of those 3 pictured. Yup, sad indeed it would be. And yep, I didn't do much talking about illegals. Hillary could just push out an executive order, and then who would ultimately decide such a case if contested. :(

Don't look at all I say as optimism. It's more like frustration for various reasons. I do think right now, that the race is a little close than the crazy liberal MSM would have you believe, but I also have no doubt that Hillary enjoys a comfortable lead right now. I'm more optimistic about something happening in October, maybe some leaks coming out, or her screwing up in some other manner. But dead on straight against one another, it feels like Trump is fighting an uphill battle against '2' opponents at this moment. IF Trump's own party supported him as Hillary's own party is supporting her, faults an all, then Trump would have a MONSTER lead right now. They are afraid of potential things that could take place with Trump winning the election. So dislike and mistrust aside, they are coming together as a team. They see a HUGE opportunity now with the SC and want desperately to seize on that. Same goes with guns, many on the left would give up their future grandkids if they could find a way to change gun laws or similar. And they will, there is NO doubt about that.

But if the election were tomorrow, your heavy heart is for good reason.

Actually what Hillary is keeping are those that voted for her in the primaries, some Bernie leftovers, a few anti-Trumps. That 1/3 that were independents, has probably grown, but that 1/3 was majority disillusioned Democrats. Now there are more than 1/3, as many that were in GOP are committed to voting, but not wanting Trump or Clinton. While I may be one of a few here, I think there's plenty out 'there' in RL. I personally have moved at least 18 from Clinton/Trump to Johnson, on crazy principles alone. Yep, who'd have thought?

If it's any consolation, only 2 were likely Trump voters before.

Well, Revelarts ... isn't this a good sign ? Something to encourage you to know that Trump can deliver on what he says ?

My understanding is that Trump has asserted that Mexico will pay for any border wall separating out America from Mexico. Now, it has to follow, doesn't it, that Trump has proven that he has dealings with Mexicans ... so ... must have familiarity with them.

So on what basis do we doubt that he knows Mexico well enough, has sufficient links with them, to judge that he can deliver on what he says ??

However, we, as a society, make everything about race... fill out any application for a job and there is inevitably a question about what race the applicant belongs to. Compile a set of statistics and you can bet somebody will try to tie it to race. Opposing views are almost always tied to race and, especially when discussing anything with Libs will end up with cries of racism. Unfortunately, there are many who want this experiment in democracy to fail and one of the most convenient ways to ensure that failure is for them to claim some false moral high ground and make the opponent defend themselves against fake moral principles.... sexist, racist, bigoted ..... prove you aren't!

I must have discussed this hundreds of times. I truthfully don't care how you feel about my presentation. I know the facts, which are the statistics that are posted, and that's being nice about the statistics. I also posted some more on the humorous side. I do wonder though, there are quite a few other pictures/cartoons here that incorrectly indict entire groups, or attempt to. My curiosity makes me wonder why you single mine out for such questioning. Show me the grave stones and I'll feel a little more remorseful about those specific plots. The picture you posted shows just that for many, many US American heroes, and then what looks like a landfill in comparison. Drop a small fence around the visible plots to protect them. Then it's time to drill and lay the pipe.

But Jim It's All Native land the oil companies have no right to ANY of it.

I was referring to "sacred burial grounds". Slap a fence around it like every other cemetery. Outside of that I couldn't care less. The comparison used was Arlington Cemetery and burials, and no one saying a word.

What, you mean to tell me, tell me I'm wrong, it couldn't be.... - they aren't destroying sacred burial ground and bodies for the Dakota pipeline?

From all I've read, it's not on the reservation. And I don't think they have 'sacred burial sites' off the reservation, do they?

There is a cemetery I visit that has a D&D about 50-100 feet across a small street, and has a Mcdonalds just adjacent to one side. Another one where I grew up is alongside a highway, and houses surrounding the other 3 sides. Every cemetery I pretty much see has housing around it and businesses right there. There's no such thing as "too close to it" unless you're a fraidy cat at night! :)

I grew up going to a flea market just by me. The "US 1 Flea Market" was around my entire life, and they finally were taken over by a ciniplex theater about 10 years ago. Anyway, the entire time visiting this market - I had to pass by the "cemetery" each time, which was right in the parking lot!! Ok, maybe not cemetery. But a plot, and to give you and idea - in America - you will NOT NOT NOT NOT ever win a case over wanting space between a cemetery and anything else. Almost every single one is "near" something, or closer.

Anyway, here is the market signs from Route 1, and looks like they were taken when I was a kid! LOL

The Final Parking Place of Mary Ellis

For the past 186 years Mary Ellis has resided on what she probably thought would always be a stately piece of property overlooking the scenic Raritan River. In actuality though, Mary had really just been monopolizing a prime parking space for the better part of the Twentieth Century. The legend of how poor Mary came to rest beneath the asphalt of the Loews Theater parking lot on Route 1 in New Brunswick is a romantic, and ultimately tragic story, not unlike a Bronte novel.

As the story goes, Mary Ellis came to New Brunswick in the 1790’s to stay with her younger sister Margaret. It was around this time that she met and fell in love with a man who was a sea captain, and former Revolutionary War officer. The Captain sailed down the Raritan and out to sea one day, vowing that when he returned he and Mary would be wed. He even left her his beloved horse to look after in his absence.

Every day after her captain’s departure, Mary would ride his horse from her sister’s house, on what is now Livingston Avenue, down to the banks of the river to eagerly await a glimpse of her lover’s returning ship. In 1813, she purchased a parcel of farmland overlooking the river from which she would maintain her daily vigil. Mary died there fourteen years later in 1828, still faithfully anticipating her captain’s return. She was buried on the property, and was eventually joined by with her sister and other family members, and according to local lore, the captain’s horse.

The plot, which was originally surrounded by an ornate wrought iron fence, lay in a rural, wooded setting well into the mid-20th Century. Over the years the ownership of the land changed hands several times, and the neighboring area has given bloom to a blight of strip malls, and discount outlets. Mary’s farm was paved over, and for many years was the site of the Route 1 Flea Market.

Stranded high and dry in the Market parking lot, Mary’s four-foot-high grave remained adrift in a sea of tarmac and bargain hunter-mobiles. For most of that time the small, grassy island was enclosed by a chain-link fence and sporadically maintained by Mary’s descendants. Often though, the weeds on the plot were so tall that one could park right next to the grave without even noticing the two-and-a-half-foot tall marble head stone inside.

After the demolition of the Route 1 Flea Market some twenty years ago the property was redeveloped and became the Loews Cineplex. The parking lot was re-graded, making Mary’s grave stand even taller than before. Still parked in a prime spot, Mary’s grave has been given a new retaining wall, and a few small trees have even been planted close by. The final resting-place of Mary Ellis seems to have been given an extended lease. It’s just too bad the theater isn’t a drive-in.

A curious side note to the story of the parking lot grave is that it was believed by many to be the inspiration for the 1972 AM radio smash hit “Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl)” by the band Looking Glass. The local rumor was that the band, which was formed at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, wrote and recorded the song as an ode to Mary Ellis. “Brandy,” according to the song’s lyrics, was in love with a ship captain who could not leave his true love, the sea, to marry her. Sounds like a familiar tale, doesn’t it? Look Glass band members have denied there is any connection between “Brandy” and Mary.

Abbey. I grew up, and attended my schools during the 50's, and early 60's. And the greatest lessons I learned was from my father, who taught me to always RESPECT, and ADMIRE women, girls, ladies.

Today, present company aside. I no longer see many REAL WOMEN, GIRLS, or LADIES who earn, or deserve any RESPECT; as that photo proves.
All anyone has to do is hear a Madonna, or Judd slapping their gums with constant "F" words, that demonstrate how the society we now live in has been downgraded to garbage minded, garbage mouthed, disrespectful Bra-burning, Braless idiots who dare to call themselves THE OPPOSITE SEX.
