You're kidding, right? Death is afraid of Chuck Norris.

There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.

Chuck Norris and Superman once fought each other on a bet. The loser had to start wearing his underwear on the outside of his pants.

Chuck Norris will never have a heart attack. His heart isn't nearly foolish enough to attack him.

Here's some trivia for you: Chuck Norris and Bob Wall (Ohara in Enter the Dragon) have been business partners since 1967.

Chuck Norris is from the 70's and 80's. A large majority of current teens don't know who Chuck Norris is. Sad but true.

My uncle once told me about watching an edition of "WWE Raw" on TV. He was disgusted that there was an entire generation of fans who never got the chance to see Bruno Sammartino take on Gorilla Monsoon in a "real" wrestling match.

Same thing with music. How many people who consider Tim McGraw and Luke Bryan "country singers" have ever heard Merle Haggard or George Jones?

I still recall the scene in a Chuck Norris film where he and his wife were out shopping, and she saw something in a shop window and wanted to go in and take a look. He said he would wait outside. He got a newspaper from the news stand and happened to glance down the street and saw a purse snatcher grab a woman's purse and start running down the sidewalk toward where he was. He turned his back to the snatcher, with his back against the light pole, opened the newspaper and waited. When the snatcher got to where he was, that arm shot out there and the snatcher ran into it. His feet flew out from under him and he landed flat on his ass.

Who's your uncle and I already like him. There used to be an art to professional wrestling. It wasn't this freak show they have now. These guys now would get their asses waxed in a minute by some of the old hookers and shooters. The match told a story and it built to an ending. Now, they're just high spots beginning to end. Back in the day, the high spot ended the match and the fight built up to it. I used to think it was funny. I'd smoke a joint, bust out some Chips Ahoy's and a large glass of milk and watch Dusty Rhodes and whoever hated him that particular week.

And I have a LOT of Bruno Sammartino on DVD. :) Gorilla Monsoon was a trip. He started out as a Mongolian that couldn't speak monster and turned into one of the mouthpieces for the WWWF/WWF/WWE in the 80. What most don't know is he owned a lot of the company. He'd job out because it "good for the company". So here's your trivia of the day ...

Bruno was asked who he would drop the belt to. He was burned out and wanted time with his family. He agreed to drop it to Superstar Billy Graham. They swerved the NY crowd by doing it in Baltimore. The belt ALWAYS changed hands in MSG. Of course Graham had to cheat to win. Just part of the story. What I always found interesting is the same people that would say "you know that's fake?" would kill to not miss General Hospital. I was like what's the difference? Other than I'm glued to the tube at 11 on Saturday and y'all are glued at 2 5 damned days a week.

I pity the kids today that know nothing of Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, George Jones, George Strait, Conway Twitty, Tom T. Hall, Glen Campbell, etc, etc. All are country music legends with real and time tested greatness and talent.. -Tyr
