City people do not realize that deer can put a hurting on you. They view them as Bambi..cute and huggable.

Out here we have Elk, and some of the bulls weigh in at close to 1000 pounds. Yet I have seen
tourists try to get within 10 yards of them for cell phone photos, even though there are signs
saying "Danger. Elk are Wild Animals. Do not approach."

I have a lifetime pass due to VA certified disability. Vets with
25% or above can get them free through the National Park Service,
National Forest Offices, or Bureau of Land Management.

During the annual summer visit, we experienced a catastrophic failure of the transmission on my R/V in Maryland.

The closest place to stay was a Park south of Baltimore. http://www.nps.gov/gree/index.htm
