Granted, certainly not thrilled! But I'm content with a great team, a great year and the 6 trophies. We can compare them to the Jets trophies of the last 5 years!

Most likely over, but not yet. Jets still gotta beat Buffalo, and the Steelers have Cleveland. But truth is, I've watched both teams, neither would go the distance anyway.

One Super Bowl.... 46 years ago...Super Bowl III is Considered the Greatest upset in the history of the Super Bowl.

Joe Namath defeats Earl Morrow and Johnny Unitas

You may have 6 rings... But the one the Jets have is Immortal.

and you cant kill something Immortal...

Can't take anything away from Broadway Joe and that win - but nothing in the world would have me give up 6 trophies, 2 in this decade, for one huge upset long ago. :)

And not much sucks more than waiting for another SB, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting and waiting.... I did it with the NY Rangers until '94!

Eh. What fun would it be if the Steelers didn't make it as humanly impossible to win? I want to know where the damned defense disappeared to.

I will definitely die earlier thanks to them. Can't ever win games like 52-0 for me. They always make shit last minute to give me anxiety, or lose to give me anxiety.

Read back to my preseason predictions. I called for the Steelers to have an awesome O and that their liability was the defensive secondary. And we now have like the 31st worse in the NFL. We need Polamalu back. :(

No sh*t. You should like the Cowboys too. If you want double the anxiety and to have a stroke. :laugh2:

Have to watch Denver too. They are losing 14-0 to Cincinnati right now getting close to halftime, and Cincy is pushing for more points before the clock winds down. "if" Pittsburgh wins next week, and Denver does lose tonight, and then loses to San Diego next week, then Pittsburgh would back in that way, whether the Jets win or lose.

jimnyc
12-28-2015, 09:34 PM
Sure, and then a few seconds later Cincy misses a field goal. I hope he gets gangrene in that leg now.

I hear that!

And then Denver gets a FG and it'll be 14-3 Cincy at the half. Hopefully Denver will have a spectacular choke to end the season, all in our favor of course. But it all means nothing if Pittsburgh finds a way to lose to the lowly Browns and Johnny Manziel.

But I saw an article that Johnny may be in hot water for drinking again. How lame. Poor guy can't even have a little fun over the holidays.

Browns could bench Johnny Manziel for Christmas Eve partying video

Yet another video of Johnny Manziel (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/27550/) partying has emerged, this one apparently taken from Christmas Eve, that would appear to be the kind of thing the Cleveland Browns (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/cle/) told him not to do. Busted Coverage posted the video — all 10 seconds of it — on its Instagram site showing Manziel appearing to drink Four Loko, an alcoholic energy drink, along with a friend, while dancing and rapping.
Browns head coach Mike Pettine hadn't seen the video when he spoke with Cleveland-area media on Monday, and he said that Manziel could be benched in the 2015 season finale and that the "repercussions would be harsh" if his quarterback is found to be in violation of his agreement with the team.

You mean like Mike Clark? Let's miss 4 FGs in the SB and lose by 2 points.

Let the browns cut him. He will go somewhere and be a superstar while the browns continue to suck ass. The kid is talented. Too bad his receivers can't catch a cold.

With like a minute to go, the scumbag Bengals are letting Osweiller and the Broncos get down the field to probably end the game with a FG. Maybe a miracle turnover?

And then a worse dumbass, Mccarron drops the snap and Denver recovers in OT - game over and they win. The 2nd scenario down the drain. Now it's down the Pittsburgh taking care of their own business while pulling for Buffalo at the same time. :)

Ravens, Broncos, Bengals, Jets, Chiefs and of course the Patriots. I hope they all get sick and puke and shit their pants all week.

Yes he did, and that was in NY for a Jets home game. This time it's gonna be in Buffalo.

But Pittsburgh better not come out conservative and on their heels again this upcoming week.

Yeah. I have a sneaking suspicion....

Get me started. The 3rd string QB is the coach, and I hurt my pinky is the QB and Jones owns the team. He at least used to pay for quality backups. In the 90s. You put your money on a whiny little sniveler you best have something to cover his Pampers-wearing ass with.

If they sit him, next up is Austin Davis. Don't know much about him as I'm an AFC guy.

That would work for me!

But I can root for an enemy of an enemy, and then wish death upon them as they walk off the field. I look at it as "using them" in order to achieve a goal. Don't think of it as rooting for them then, think of it as rooting against the Jets.

I liked Namath too. I liked a lot of Jets players over the years. But this weekend is different. I'd like to see the team bus drop them off, and then accidentally put it in reverse and take out a few, starting with the QB Fitzpatrick. Nothing fatal of course, just enough to get us into the playoffs.
