The naked body of Ashley Olsen, 35, of Summer Haven, Florida, was discovered Saturday morning by her boyfriend. Florence chief prosecutor Giuseppe Creazzo told a news conference Thursday that investigators had detained Cheik Tidiane Diaw, a 27-year-old who arrived recently in Italy from Senegal, based on witness testimony, DNA analysis and because he had Olsen's cellphone.

The guy might as well have left his name and address and phone number. Seems these one-night-stand adventure seeking gals never learn. Reminds me of the movie Looking For Mr. Goodbar.

There's a couple of oddities to this story : Ashley had a boyfriend, and yet somehow ended up having 'consensual sex' with the Senegalese immigrant in her apartment and subsequently was murdered.

The 'consensual sex' part doesn't ring true. I think it's more likely that he lured her away to her apartment with the promise of drugs and then raped & killed her - he is well known to the cops there to be involved with the drug underground.

Was wondering about that when I saw it on the news. I wouldn't know either Ashley Olsen if they walked up in front of me. If it was the dead one though, it might raise an eyebrow.:laugh:
