I hope Manning is rusty, tosses a few picks and by the time they pull him for Osweiler it's too late. The Steelers no-names "Touissant and Todman" carry for over 100 total and Ben hits Bryant and Wheaton for 2TD's total. Steelers hang on for 20-17 win.

Wishful thinking, but ya never know!! :towel: http://www.247steelers.com/styles/smilies/Steelers/6xsmile.gif

Yes...They always do that....Weird...Until the coach spanks them...and... "say`s get back to business!!!"...Im laughing ...but its true...

Thats why they are Known as the "Cardiac Cats":thumb:....always been that way...But they Usually finish... unfinished business... Drives the fans crazy..Thats where the "Keep Pounding" came from.

Ahh well, they gave it all they had but came up short. No excuses. Denver popped out the football and got a much needed TO for their team, and they were able to get down field and convert. That was the difference in the game. Not a bad season with all things considered.

Jim - Sorry - I'm not a Steelers fan, but they acquitted themselves well. All-Pro RB Leveon Bell - out. All-Pro WR Antonio Brown - out. Ben Rothlesberger (I think I spelled it wrong) very much hurt. And yet they were leading in the 4th quarter. I don't know how they do it. I will say that I would take Mike Tomlin as my team's coach any day of the week.

Thank you....Tough...close Loss with the... >"Denver popped out the football out"< ..Could happen to any team...shit happens...

BTW...Last weak Seattle spanked the Cardinals hard and bad....we will Learn from that...and look forward to the visit...

Panthers want to play Brady and the Patriots very badly...we have long memories...and we have always played them tough...

>>>>...the Patriots ..........

...a machine like team never really could figure the Panthers out...we have always been an odd-ball team...Ya we owe them BIG....I cant wait...

*Here is a little trivia....That the Panthers `will never forget` until we get our pay-back satisfied...

*The Patriots are praying we lose next week....

"Super Bowl XXXVIII was an American football (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_football) game

between the National Football Conference (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Football_Conference) (NFC) champion Carolina Panthers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_Carolina_Panthers_season) and the American Football Conference (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Football_Conference)

(AFC) champion New England Patriots (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_New_England_Patriots_season) to decide the National Football League (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Football_League) (NFL) champion for the2003 season (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_NFL_season). The

Patriots defeated the Panthers by the score of 32–29, winning their secondSuper Bowl (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bowl) in three years. The game was

played at Reliant Stadium (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reliant_Stadium) in Houston (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Houston), Texas, on February 1, 2004. At the time, this was the most watched Super Bowl

ever with 144.4 million viewers.[5] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bowl_XXXVIII#cite_note-5)

The Panthers were making their first ever Super Bowl appearance after posting an 11–5 regular season record. The

Patriots were seeking their second Super Bowl title in three years after posting a 14–2 record.

NFL fans and sports writers widely consider this game one of the most well-played and thrilling Super Bowls; Sports

Illustrated (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sports_Illustrated) writer Peter King (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_King_(sportswriter)) hailed it as the "Greatest Super Bowl of all time."

:(

I only partially agree. Yes, that fumble was the end. However, if that DB could have been wrapped more around the Steelers receiver in the end zone they;s have had to censor the video for sexual content. Where are those l=flag-happy refs when you need them? Oh yea, he was standing right there.

That interference cost them 7 points.

I was thinking about next week. NE v Denver.

That's almost as good as a Redskins-Eagles game. If the Earth opened up and swallowed both teams, I wouldn't miss either.
