Bloomberg, Sensing an Opening, Revisits a Potential White House RunBy ALEXANDER BURNS and MAGGIE HABERMAN<time class="dateline" datetime="2016-01-23" itemprop="datePublished" content="2016-01-23" style="font-size: 0.6875rem; line-height: 0.75rem; font-family: nyt-cheltenham-sh, georgia, 'times new roman', times, serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); margin-left: 12px;">JAN. 23, 2016

</time>Michael R. Bloomberg (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/people/b/michael_r_bloomberg/index.html?inline=nyt-per) has instructed advisers to draw up plans for a potential independent campaign in this year’s presidential race. His advisers and associates said he was galled by Donald J. Trump (http://www.nytimes.com/topic/person/donald-trump?8qa)’s dominance of the Republican field, and troubled by Hillary Clinton’s stumbles and the rise of Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont on the Democratic side.

I'll enjoy watching them flail around trying to out-commie the next one.

I still think it's hilarious that not ONE democrat has been able to distinguish the difference between socialists and democrats. Every one of them flee that question like it's the bubonic plague.

I guarantee it's going to come up after the primaries, and it'll be great fun to watch them squirm.

He can't be controlled. Let's see what he's got.

All he says is that he will have good people working for him, that's all. No need to learn a single bit about him. I'm just going to wing it blindly.

I just hope he wouldn't be invited to the debates.

Democrats and a handful of confused republicans.

That would make the democrat primary be a free for all.

How would it interfere with dem primary if he's running independent?

He'll siphon off liberal votes from both of the other loons. It'll be a 3-way circus.

And Biden keeps making grunts from the corner... he's still not sure. This could be a 4-way extravaganza! I say 4 because O'Malley is not a factor.

Indy.

He knows who his base is, though.

And yet, I predict the left leaning Lame Stream Media to lead with "how fractured is the Republican Party". http://www.debatepolicy.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=8289&stc=1
