Prior to getting married, our priest told us this were the 3 biggest problems we would face. And in life everyone says that these are the 3 things you avoid discussing with others.

But what about here at a politically based board? Of course we have an entire section dedicated to religion, which seems to get a fair amount of use. We have no sex section. :) But we certainly have a fair amount of discussion centered around it, and we try to keep things in line so as not to offend others. What about politics? Is who one is voting for a secret here as well? I mean, we have had threads with polls and all other kinds of things to find out who might be voting for who. Do some of you still find it mostly private and don't share here who you may be voting for?

Some do. Some don't. Not telling anyone who you voted for is a right to privacy issue and it's dovetailed in with NEVER discuss politics, religion or sex. If someone doesn't want to say who they are voting for, it's that someone's business.

The problem with this board discussing politics is the same as it is in real life ... the arguments get heated and no one's listening to anyone else. We're just a microcosm of what's going on out there in the real world. The right is destroying itself. Again. People want to take it personally when someone doesn't like their candidate and/or points out something wrong, bad or whatever about them. I completely disagree with that mindset.

And you can say it isn't a freedom of speech issue but when you have a bunch of smarmy people jumping down the throats or just making shitty comments and trying to play innocent of those who aren't going to go along to get along, then it IS a freedom of speech issue.

If they tell they may be thinking Trump supporters will target their choice the way they've targeted ours. You know-have an equal chance to return fire--but I think they find quite an advantage in not citing their choice.
Which is certainly their right to do, don't misunderstand my comment.
So while our guy is out in the arena fighting lions they can criticize the living hell out of Trump while their guy is safely tucked away , hiding a corner with his/her low numbers.
And if they say they haven't picked one yet my question is this-
Then why do they feel they are greater authorities than us in choosing a candidate?
Seems to me they can not or choose not to actually make up their mind.
Thats fine as well but it does not denote to me a great thinker , this far in and still so undecided that one can only try to destroy the Republican top runner.. -Tyr

Kentucky's primary is not until March, so I still have a little time. But I suspect I will be unsure even until that day who I will vote for.

That's bullshit. Since when were we not allowed to have opinions that don't mirror yours? "Your guy" is out there destroying the GOP. Hardly fighting lions.

I consider myself as good as an authority as anyone else with one exception: I know how to fight in a war and win, and I know how to look at what's been done wrong and fix it. Apparently the GOP doesn't. They don't even have control of their own asylum.

Who I vote for is my business and I have a Right to not tell you and all it means is THAT. I don't care if you attack the candidate I like. But if y'all can't take it from within, just how the hell do you think you're going to take on the consolidated Dem machine with a splintered force?

I know you were behind Fiorina at one point if I recall correctly, as well as Carson? Who ya liking these days? And NY isn't until mid-April!

Okay so now i'm personally requesting the Mods create a sex forum, moderated and lead by Gunny with the Q&A thread 'Don't be a fag, and other sex advice'.

As for who to vote for, I never tell anyone who I've voted for, which winds some folk up for some reason.

Aren't you the one that whines like a little bitch every time anyone says anything even remotely off-key to you? But I bet you think THIS is funny, huh? Do they spell "hypocrite" the same in Northern Ireland as they do here?

I vote that we all have sex with the partner of our own choosing .... religiously!

I consider myself a realist; Fiorina doesn't have a chance at victory. I did contribute to Carly's campaign.

I have some concerns about Carson like I do about Cruz and Trump.

I truly don't know who I will vote for.

First perhaps show me once where I told you or any other member here they could not speak their mind or who they must vote for. I can wait on that one.
Next , I've not asked a single member here who they are voting for. Just Like my Trump hating brother, I did not ask him his chosen candidate either.
So right there are two things that you presented that I never engaged in here or elsewhere.
I 've not demanded that anybody vote for Trump. On the same token it gets old hearing whats wrong with Trump but those citing all that are lucky enough not to hear a single neg about their guy or the guy the will eventually choose.
How that great benefit is so conveniently arranged I do question as is my right to do also as well.
Free speech for all is my motto.
Also since I am on record stating several times THAT I WILL VOTE FOR WHICHEVER REPUBLICAN GETS THE NOMINATION THEN SEEMS TO ME IF HILLARY WINS IT WILL HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH MY FIRST CHOICE IN SUPPORTING AS I SWITCHED HORSES THE MOMENT THAT HE LOST
THE NOMINATION.
What I hear is others saying if their guy losing they are staying home and then also saying that is Trump supporters fault--which is bullshit IMHO.
Do what you like but falsely charging me aint gonna fly hoss, no more than it does with either JIM or NIGHTTRAIN.
