It looks like the GOP is going to dodge a bullet and select a consistent Christian and consistent conservative over an unrepentant adulterer whose only credibility being what he says at the moment. T-Rump is a cross between B.J. "Bill Jefferson" Clinton and Messiah complex Obama.

Yeah because whoever wins iowa wins the nomination.

Ask Huckabee, Santorum, 1980 Bush sr, 1988 Bob Dole.

And now you can revel in your raw hatred and enjoy yourself

No touching though, that's not "healthy"

I'm psyched- Rubio did great! I predicted he'd win, and to my mind, he kinda did.

Tell jeb to drop out and give rubio that super pack money if you want rubio.

Otherwise that money will be wasted

Interesting. Cruz did quite a bit better than the polls said - they pretty much got Trump and Cruz reversed.

Either way, I'm good with the results.

Huckabee dropping out will help give a little clarity, Paul is vowing to fight on.

It appeared that O'Malley's supporters defected to Sanders.

Yeah because whoever wins iowa wins the nomination.

If Cruz becomes the nominee, Alan Grayson is going to sue him.

Cruz first, Trump second. To whatever extent a Brit's view is worth anything, I can't feel badly about that result, other than having preferred it if it had been the other way around.

Our media, surprisingly, acted a little surprised that Trump didn't win there. But there's evidently some satisfaction in their reporting, too. Trump's name is pretty much mud over here on this side of the Pond.

At least I have the satisfaction of seeing the BBC pundits looking as though they may not know what they're talking about on Rubio. They only seemed to have time for Rubio in their choices on the Republican side.

They also reacted with surprise at the closeness of the Hillary result, but seemed to try to put a good spin on it all the same.

['Smug Insufferable Brit' mode ON ..] .. Aha. BUT .... all time, anywhere in the world, is determined using Greenwich Mean Time as a reference point. Fact is, if it's 4 o'clock in your part of the world, that's because WE say it is ....
