This option has once again been integrated into the board.
Rather than banning users for short periods when they get out of hand and disrupt otherwise good threads, staff now has the option to remove a users ability to participate in a particular thread. These users will still have full functionality to the rest of the board.
Should anyone feel that they have been removed from a thread unfairly, shoot me a PM and I'll look into the matter. Hopefully this option won't have to be used often, but it is a great way of salvaging threads that get thrown off course by those who wish to flame and/or completely go off topic. I'll request that staff politely ask users to refrain from their behavior before using this option, but should the warning not be listened to, said user will be removed.
