And he has increased his lead since NH.

---

Donald Trump has over double the voter support of any Republican White House hopeful nationwide, according to a new poll.

Over 4 in 10 Americans are backing Trump’s campaign after his victory in New Hampshire’s GOP primary last Tuesday, according to a Morning Consult survey released Friday.

Trump earns 44 percent support from registered Republican and Republican-leaning independent voters. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) comes in a distant second, with 17 percent.

Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson and Sen. Marco Rubio are in third, with 10 percent each.

Trailing them are former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush with 8 percent and Ohio Gov. John Kasich with 4 percnet.

Six percent “don’t know” or have “no opinion” on which GOP candidate they support, while 1 percent prefer “someone else.”

Trump is also viewed favorably by over 6 in 10 of his party’s voters, pollsters found. He has a 67 percent favorability rating, while Rubio takes 62 percent and Cruz 61 percent.

Friday’s results found that Trump’s support has risen 6 points since his win in New Hampshire.

I just heard him say, "I don't have time to go negative.' Brilliant!

For me, the brilliant part is the candidate I like romping in the national polls, while the others attack one another and help him. The more folks concentrate on Trump and negativity, and ignore the other candidates, the better it is for Trump. I mean, how can other candidates gain in the national polls when their supporters are mostly silent, don't even acknowledge their solid support for them, and spend more time with other candidates than they do with the one they 'support'. The "Trump Train" as Jeff calls it, is running full steam ahead, and the haters are the ones dropping in the coal and making it faster.

That's part of that he can be anything he needs to be quote both you and Mark Levin referred to. Remember: Don't get outraged; get busy!

Everyone loves a winner! Right. What amazes me is the rationalizing necessary of his past positions, some a mere moment ago. Their support of his 'telling it like it is...' now buying 'the others being negative.' Condemning 'changes of minds' of other candidates-showing that they are 'liars' and 'panderers,' but not Mr. Trump. Letting the media pick up Trump's negatives on other candidates, then hammering his point home; claiming the media is against Trump. Right.

For the record, others go negative as well, hence the others fighting and every media agency acknowledging as much, and exactly what's keeping Trump in the lead right now. Folks complained in the very beginning that there was too much media about Trump and they couldn't escape it. Can't escape it if you contribute to it! I post about Trump as that's who I lean towards right now.

Then keep bashing Trump and spending every waking moment on him, and continue to ignore every other candidate as a result. Works for me. That will only serve to increase his attention and numbers.

I wonder if the media picks up on negatives from other candidates? Oh, that's right, they do! It's just that folks are too busy bashing Trump to worry about such things.

Politics is a nasty business, always has been. When the country though appears to be 'unbelievably' supporting an avowed socialist on one hand or a populist with positions often inline with the other, it becomes obvious that nearly 60% of the populace really does want a European styled socialist country for the future.

Some of us are railing against it, but I do believe we are less than 40%.

I'm REALLY concerned that the US has become a "reality TV" culture. The things you notice are as plain as the nose on one's face. Even Jerry Falwell, Jr. was taken in. I'm guessing you're a Rubio supporter, but as part of the #CruzCrew, I know the only thing to do is to replicate Iowa and outwork the Trump Chumps.
