This is an interesting study from Stanford.

Now researchers have found that your perception of your own physical attractiveness has an even greater effect on your mindset than previously suspected. Professor Margaret Neale and doctoral student Peter Belmi of Stanford Graduate School of Business found that seeing yourself as physically attractive leads you to believe you belong in a higher social class.

The series of five studies conducted by Neale and Belmi, with participants that included both men and women, has important implications for research on inequality. If you believe you are attractive, you tend to think you belong in a higher social class yourself and believe, accordingly, that hierarchies are a legitimate way for organizing people and groups. You also are more likely to believe people lower down in a hierarchy are there because they deserve to be. The research also showed that self-perceived physical attractiveness mattered more to people's perception of their social rank than their self-perceived goodness — qualities like empathy and integrity — did.

My grandfather always said, "Beauty is only skin deep but ugly, now ugly is to the bone..
His way of saying that the only beautiful women are beautiful inside and out. I've met dated and even married some extremely beautiful women and sadly have found out firsthand exactly what he was saying to me.
Third time, I made sure both beauties were present before tying the knot. We males are notorious for only looking for that outer beauty, truth is the inner beauty ifs far , far more important if one wants a sustained relationship.

Women are by design--to be attractive with that outer beauty and thus attract a mate.
Men are by design -- compelled to be attracted by that beauty presented and procreate.
A most explosive mix when the ingredients are wrong and/or are combined without proper safeguards(thinking/wisdom) and other various considerations.--Tyr

I wonder if the opposite is true?

I tend to think the opposite is not true. I think people who are less attractive tend to want to view all people as equals.

The same thing goes with intelligence. Imbeciles think they are equal in intelligence to everyone else, even though they should know they are not.

Beautiful women are more prone to demonic possession?

Mallam Luthfi Jamal-Baba, an Imam and exorcist from Ghana, west Africa, said that although men can be inhabited by 'jinns' (spirits), beautiful women are more prone to possession.

Sounds like another excuse to me. "Beauty" is just another social construct. Look at these European supermodels. First thing I'd do with one of those is take them to DQ to put some meat in that scrawny ass.
