In a report (http://www.debatepolitics.com/redirect-to/?redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bbc.co.uk%2Fnews%2Fworl d-middle-east-35546671) produced by the BBC featured an apparent FSA commander sitting in his crisp brand new army uniform but the report failed to mention that Major Yaser Abdulrahim was actually part of the Islamist Fatah Halab who are allies with Ansar al-Sharia (http://www.debatepolitics.com/redirect-to/?redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2F Ansar_al-Sharia_%28Syria%29) which the US described as "anti-regime" but not "necessarily anti-ISIS".

Major Yaser Abdulrahim is not actually a member of the FSA as admitted by BBC propagandist Quentin Somerville on his Twitter page-

"A number of rebel groups" which would include other Islamist Sharia groups?

Fatah Halab is an umbrella group which includes Al Qaeda affiliates Ahrar ash-sham and Jaysh al-islam, Jaysh al-islam were seen putting civilians in cages and putting them on top of buildings to stop the Syrian and Russian air force from targeting them.

Even during the propaganda report by the BBC it featured a Jaysh al-islam flag

The BBC now classes jihadi Islamist groups as rebels?

Well, they did class them as rebels before, didn't they ? Still, I thought they were being more careful, after the emergence of ISIS became fully clear. Seems the BBC wants to 'get fuzzy' in its reporting once more.

So far as I'm aware, the BBC still refuses to use the word 'terrorist' in its own reports. The same old directive remains in place ...

If it looks like a DUCK, walks like a DUCK, and acts like a DUCK...It's still a Terrorist.

Exactly ! As you and I both know, the BBC will never acknowledge ISIS as representative of Islam. They'll always insist it is an extremist, rogue version (at best).

But then .. isn't that the basic line that all of our media takes .. that there's a 'peaceful, mainstream' Islam that always has nothing at all to do with terrorism. Isn't that part of why there is so much disrespect and rejection of Trump's stance on Muslim immigration ?
