On the Rush Limbaugh radio show today, first hour, Rush offers the possible new strategy of the GOP to defeat Trump and put in the golden boy, Rubio.

He says possibly the GOP wants Trump, Cruz, and Rubio to remain in the race and each run strongly. The idea being that no one candidate secures the nomination on the first vote (1,237 delegates). Apparently delegates are bound to the candidate on the first vote only. After that, the delegates can vote for whoever. With horse trading, they see a way for Rubio to win.

That is the way the rules work, I don't have a problem with that, no conspiracy. OTOH, if they look to swap in a Romney or some other way of undermining the system-they will deserve what they get.

In the second hour he did talk about a possible entry into the race by Romney, right at the end of it all (assuming no candidate is gonna get 1,237), and then bargaining to get him in.

But Trump is a master negotiator. I don't see him losing when it comes to negotiations.
