I would have thought the difference was even greater. Of interest, the projections is after the 'lull' it will balloon-built in factors of Obamacare and other entitlements:

I wouldn't accuse the Heritage Foundation of a lack of bias. The data though? It's there.

Right. I meant the first graph; it didn't start in 2010.

Gotcha. A jump from 1990 to 2010 and every other year after, seems a bit weird without context. I'm guessing though the context might be from the 'ending of 'defense growth' of the Reagan/Bush era' to the Obama era?
