Billionaires, tech CEOs and top members of the Republican establishment flew to a private island resort off the coast of

Georgia this weekend for the American Enterprise Institute's annual World Forum, according to sources familiar with the

secretive gathering.

The main topic at the closed-to-the-press confab? How to stop Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

Apple CEO Tim Cook, Google co-founder Larry Page, Napster creator and Facebook investor Sean Parker, and Tesla

Motors and SpaceX honcho Elon Musk all attended. So did Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), political

guru Karl Rove, House Speaker Paul Ryan, GOP Sens. Tom Cotton (Ark.), Cory Gardner (Colo.), Tim Scott (S.C.), Rob

Portman (Ohio) and Ben Sasse (Neb.), who recently made news bysaying (https://www.facebook.com/sassefornebraska/posts/561073597391141) he "cannot support Donald Trump."

**Don't forget who they are and what they stand for........it ain't the American way.

`I have a hard time seeing how "our" elected officials can come together and conspire to attack an individual

American citizen running for public office with their goal to stop him from being elected. These elective are

doing this on the citizens dime....many of these citizens voted for them and have and will voted for Trump,

the man they are attacking. Seems like there should be some legal action that could be taken against this

conspiracy and those involved, individually.`

`.....If these people had fought Obama half as hard as they are fighting Trump they wouldn't be in the situation

they are in today and our country would be much better off. It's their own fault and I have no sympathy for

them at all. ......*They are only in it for themselves.

If they succeed in derailing Trump, what do you suppose their endgame is? Have they even considered one?

Who is their alternative?

***For sure it's not Cruz. So there you have these perps trying to thwart the will of about 65% of the party.

*Screw 'em.`

They can't handle so many Americans not giving a shit what they think or who they try and tell us to vote for. I don't care for one second what they think, nor the other banana heads around the country who want to dismiss so many of us because we are supporting Trump.

It said it was a secretive meeting, not that the fact that a meeting was happening was a secret. It's closed to the press aka secretive.

The fact that they didn't go after Obama or any of the other Republican candidates ... (except Ron Paul) shows that it really doesn't matter if it's an R or D in the white house as far as the rich are concerned.

That voice was and is the sleeping majority now awakened in one helluva angry mood my friend!
And deciding to no damn longer stay silent!
Thus you see the bastards that have had it ALL their ffing way so damn long pulling out all stops to stop Trump .
Were he not going to upset their little corrupt applecart, they'd not being willing to spend a billion dollars to stop him but they combined are and likely even more than that!!!
Trump or CRUZ, EITHER ONE, AS THE REST OF OUR CANDIDATES THEY FIND PALATABLE
--(ESPECIALLY RUBIO).
Thus the rest are not in ours and our nation's best interests despite their records IMHO!! --Tyr

Ben Carson: I've Been Offered Money, Political Support to Drop Out
http://insider.foxnews.com/2016/02/28/ben-carson-says-hes-been-offered-money-political-support-drop-out-presidential-race

Dr. Ben Carson has been getting offered money and political support to drop out of the 2016 presidential race, he confirmed this morning.
“The machine in Washington is extremely complicated and complex. It is corrupt,” he told Maria Bartiromo.
“People say, ‘Well, that’s just the way it is, and we just have to accept that.’ I don’t think we have to accept that. I think there is such a thing as right and wrong.”
The “decline” in this country, Carson argued, is caused by people giving away their “values and principles” in exchange for “political correctness and political power.”
“I’m just hoping and praying that we will wake up,” said the GOP presidential candidate.
“That’s what millions of my supporters are saying. ‘Please don’t give in. Please don’t give in to the system. Please fight for us.’ And I’m going to do that.”
The retired neurosurgeon also laid out what he sees as the country’s biggest economic problems and his plan to fix them.

Politics is a nasty game.. And Carson's not nasty. One could argue that is why he wasn't successful.

I agree, wholeheartedly. Like him I've always believed that when push comes to shove, most Americans will put country first. He lost the nomination process, but I do pray that the ideals were right.

Dead on the money accurate.
Political Correctness was an agenda heralded, promoted and nurtured(by dems, leftist liberals, atheists and the usual scum) to destroy this nation as it was founded!
I have not a PC bone in my body and never will have.
I adamantly refuse to play their stinking game. ff-them!-Tyr
