Actually, she was asked if she would drop out if she was indicted. And here are her lies on the stage:

---

Hillary Clinton refused to entertain a question tonight about her email scandal and whether she would drop out of the race if she's indicted.

'Oh for goodness - that is not going to happen. I am not going to even answer that question,' she angrily told Univision's Jorge Ramos during tonight's Democratic debate.

-----

Univision debate moderator Jorge Ramos confronted Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Wednesday over her email scandal, directly asking her if she would drop out of the race for her party's nomination if she were indicted.

"If you get indicted, will you drop out?" he asked her.

The former secretary of state refused to answer the question.

"Oh, for goodness," she started when Ramos pressed her on the issue after she initially danced around it. "It's not going to happen. I'm not even answering that question."

The FBI has been looking into whether any classified material was mishandled during Clinton's tenure at the State Department from 2009 to 2013. The agency has said, however, that she is not a target in the investigation.

The debate exchange started when Ramos said that, by directing her staff to use official government email while she used a private server as secretary of state, Clinton seemed to be issuing "one set of rules for" herself and "a different set of rules for the rest of the State Department."

In addition to asking whether she would drop out if she got indicted, Ramos asked who gave Clinton permission to use a private server for her emails while she served as secretary of state.

"It wasn't the best choice, I made a mistake," Clinton said. "It was not prohibited. It was not in any way disallowed and, as I've said and as now has come out, my predecessors did the same thing and many other people in the government."

The email scandal has dogged Clinton for nearly a year. In March 2015, she first admitted to exclusively using a private email account to send and receive work-related emails while at the State Department.

In her answer to Ramos, Clinton said that she didn't "send or receive any emails" that were marked classified at the time she sent them:

What you're talking about is retroactive classification and the reason that happens is when somebody asks ... to make information public, I asked all my email to be made public, then all the rest of the government gets to weigh in. And some other parts of the government, we're not exactly sure who, has concluded that some of the emails should now retroactively be classified.

Clinton emphasized that she's "not concerned" about the email issue and said voters shouldn't be concerned, either.

When this really erupts, we will certainly be treated to another round of "It's a vast right wing conspiracy".

Whatever our problems, at least we don't have this, and a Socialist, running.

IF it erupts. I was reading about Lynch yesterday and it sounded like she was making excuses already, talking about if they get the recommendation, then she speaks with many others and makes a determination, that they don't HAVE TO.

I think that she walks as the dems have no honor, hate any real justice, and know they can get away with it.
Additionally bamboy tis not up for re-election, so only way she does not walk is if he decides to "punish her" for his and the moocchybitch's personal reasons.
Which is a possibility, even if its not likely.
She will not be prosecuted by this admin because of any faithful desire to pursue real justice--they are libs and morons that are far too arrogant to worry about such a mundane and useless concept of , "justice and fairness for all".
Which is exactly why such vermin should never have power!! --Tyr

Read that myself. Wouldn't be surprised if he has an accident or commits suicide.

I just wonder if we'll ever know ALL of the truth. Outside of an indictment, likely not. I hate that witch.

I'm pretty sure he serves at 'the pleasure of the president.'

If Lynch doesn't indict, then all hell breaks loose. Comey calls a press conference, explaining what the circumstances were and the clear coverup in progress on orders directly from Obama to Lynch.

Then all the other Intelligence branches come forward with their own info, with more resignations in protest of cronyism. And once people start breaking ranks, it snowballs & suddenly there's NEW scandals that were kept quiet.

Comey is well aware that any half-assed charges will be summarily dismissed, which is why this is dragging out. He's building an airtight case. Just the fact that he made a deal with the IT guy, Pagliano, speaks volumes - they don't hand those out unless there's a much bigger, juicier fish to catch. This fish is wearing a pantsuit and making public comments that they're not going to find anything, essentially that they're a bunch of Keystone Cops, which is the equivalent of flipping off the executioner - he's going to make sure his axe is nice and sharp.

The only time I've heard of 150 agents assigned to a single case is when there was a huge espionage ring being uncovered, or hunting down OBL - they just don't spend that kind of horsepower unless they're hellbent for leather and they know they have a good case.

Obama is more afraid he'll be remembered as a corrupt Nixon than anything - his 'legacy' is of utmost importance to him.

That's why I don't think he'll risk it. Comey already cut him off at the pass by leaking damning info steadily.

I'm ready to enjoy Kathi's beer!

What else would you expect her to say?

Do you remember Perry Mason? Someone would blurt out "I DID IT" "I'M GUILTY" from the audience..

No one's going to impeach the Affirmative Action president, or indict the affirmative action presidential candidate. Both have a big D after their name.

What else would you expect her to say?

She could try understanding that she should be accountable for her actions ... and follow a duty to come clean.

Or .. do you think she should be excused such an obligation ?
