Just last week, TPNN reported that voting machines in historically politically corrupt Cook County, Illinois, were automatically switching votes cast for Republicans into votes for Democrat candidates.

Cook County Board of Elections Deputy Communications Director Jim Scalzitti, told the Illinois Watchdog that, “It was a calibration error of the touch-screen on the machine.”

Now, Watchdog.org is reporting similar evidence of electronic voter fraud in the State of Maryland, where Diebold voting machines are switching Republican votes to Democrat votes

You can bet also the dems will have a few million dead people voting too!!
Something very serious must be done about this systematic fraud that they happily engage in with utter impunity.-Tyr

All I can find on this is back in 2014... the OP story doesn't have a date.

Still, this crap is getting old. Voter fraud needs to be punished harshly.

And probably just as many stories about "rigging" the other way.

Funny enough, I never hear of voting machines casting votes for Republicans in error.

Spend some time in a blue area around election time.

Snopes opinion of the OP:

Claim: Voting machines in Cook County were rigged to change votes cast for Republican candidates to votes for Democratic candidates.

Besides, I'm sure that "just last week" there were no R and D elections happening at the same time for votes to be changed.

Did you read it? There were machines changing votes and Moynihan caught it. The officials say "no votes were changed", but that's a pretty bold statement to make. How many voted without catching the changed candidate?

Yes, and the implication of "rigging" an election vs. an apparent calibration issue. These types of complaints go both ways.

Not. At. All. Does Acorn ring a Bell? Does "New Black Panthers Ring" a Bell?

Dems and especially liberal ones have been doing this for ages.

Yeah, they suck. They also don't electronically rig elections.

ACORN is still fresh in my mind. Along with the reports of 100% voter results for democrats last time, with numbers exceeding the population in some cases.

Again the question is rigging. There are plenty of 100% Dem precincts but I don't recall any that exceeded the population. Personally I would set up a camera to count how many folks go into one of those precincts and then compare it to the actual vote count.

IMO electronic elections were an overreaction to the whole FL recount thing in 2000.

I heard about it a lot.

That's just CO. OH and FL ring a bell, too, with voters exceeding actual population.

The sad thing is that we only hear about this in the middle of election season, and then nothing ever comes of it. We need voter ID and more observers at the polls.

The Liberal Dems always block any suggestion of Voter ID. Ever wonder why?

'Hitler' appears on Ohio voter registration form (2012)

Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys, including Quarterback Tony Romo, were names that ACORN workers attempted to register to vote during the 2008 presidential election.

I thought Donald Duck got on there to, and not everyone knows who Hitler is because its history and who give a fuck about that??

Rigging voting machines is old hat. We have new tricks up our sleeves for 2016.
We are going to be busing illegals in from Mexico and giving them absentee ballots printed in Spanish. Free breakfast tacos for each ballot properly filled out and returned! :wink2:

Truth be told, there is a movement to sign up more Latino voters. Volunteers are going door to door with voter registration forms printed in English and Spanish. Voter registration booths have been set up at concerts and youth sporting events. Those without transportation can sign up to get rides to polling stations.
My daughter went to a birthday party in my sister's neighborhood last weekend. There was a Trump pinata and a Trump dart board.
Fun for all ages!!

Uh-huh.

If it was just an accidental error, then we'd see as many machines switching Dem votes to Republican, as we're seeing them switch from Republican to Dem.

But are they?

At first they tried a Hillary piñata, but it dodged, bobbed, and weaved so much that nobody could hit it, even though there was plenty to hit.

Good parenting dictates that a parent knows what State their child is in, nevermind encouraging abuse of non-moonbat effigies.

That doesn't surprise me that you don't know. Expected, really.

That showed the number registered to vote. Not actual vote totals exceeding the population.

You're right; I misread that.

This gets back to the problem of Registered Voters not being properly maintained, which makes voter fraud much harder to detect. Hard to interview those graveyard voters, too.

No argument here. Voter ID is a reasonable requirement IMO.
