Trump has finally woken up to the growing threat of Cruz and the GOP hierarchy stealing his delegates.
It is a poorly kept secret that Cruz has been working to get Trump delegates is some states to challenge their status. Rubio has refused to release his delegates despite dropping out of the race. The GOP has also been exploring ways to have some Trump states pass on the first ballot.
Could be a fun time in Cleveland. For Democrats.

I read that in South Carolina, candidates must sign a form promising to support the GOP nominee. Since Trump has publicly stated that he won't do that, some are saying since Trump breached that agreement, the SC delegates obligation to vote for Trump is null and void.

No. If Cruz wins a contested convention... will you vote for Bernie or Hillary?
