1) Post to the general public. There are lurkers that are part of your audience.
2) Respond to ideas, not individuals
3) Dehumanize: Anyone responding to you doesn't know you.
4) Don't get involved in the back-and-forth sand trap
5) Recognize the Peanut Gallery* for what it is. However, feel free to use the rare useful idea from the Peanut Gallery.
6) Limit interaction that's on a personal level. Avoid communicating many details about yourself. These people are not your friends.

*The Peanut Gallery expression originated with Vaudeville where cheap seats were offered and peanuts were served. It was an act of socially consciousness, allowing lower class people to be exposed to cultural endeavors. Those lower class people would sometimes shout unqualified opinions about the performance and throw peanuts.

WTF are you giving advice for? You can't even tie your fucking shoes.

Taking advice from you on any subject is like taking your accordion hunting - stupid, pointless and annoys everyone within earshot.

You the pot or the kettle? You act like you're so much wiser and so above everyone else. Yet you support a party and and a candidate that can't win the general election anymore than the other camp's candidate.

And YOU may not be the only angry and frustrated person on here, but you are one of the worst. You don't even know when to quit. For instance, I'm a Texan. Cruz is TX (R). Now just who do THINK I want to win? I just draw the line at insulting people who don't agree with me. You say you don't respect most of the people on the board when I find 99% of them have something to offer. Be it about politics or whatever. You on the other hand makes posts reeking of anger that no one's listening to you because -- let me guess -- "we don't understand".

You're just a self-absorbed miserable person who must get his way somewhere because you spend an inordinate amount of time trying to get it here and acting like a 3rd grader when you don't.

And you want to talk about respect? You earn respect. You aren't entitled to it. And you get what you give.

However, I have a diaper to change and bottle to make and 9 months old that deserves my attention more than your pissy ass. And your bogus accusation I chose not to comment to you on "offering to drop by"? try using Gunny if you want me see something. I don't see everything on this board and I certainly don't chase around after your every post.

Or, alternatively, instead of worrying about a list....

Just post, have fun and debate/discuss things with others that you disagree with or have common interests in.

Nah. I know his personality type. I used to have 150 Marines working for me. You learn to read people. He's easy. Arrogant people are obvious because they think they're so much smarter than everyone else no one can see what they're about so they don't try and hide it. Little devious f*ckers are harder to figure out.

Gunny, I rarely agree with you, but I respect the hell out of you. Because you aren't afraid to say what you think.
Dislike me all you want. You have earned that right. But I think you are a cool old geezer. :salute:

Old geezer?

Got news for you ... got a mental list of people I don't like and you aren't on it. I don't care much for the game you play, but I understand it. I honestly don't dislike anyone on this board. Maybe 1 or 2 others.

I did a lot a crap as a kid my grandparents didn't like, and they could see right through, but they never tossed me on the curb for it. I find you not-so-old geezers are WAY more willing to do that than us "old" geezers. Not liking your behavior at times means nothing. I just try to take people for who and what they are.

Are you serious?

You are one of the worst instigators here.

To an early-30s person like myself, most of you guys are "old geezers". :cheers2:

OK Gabs ya cracked me up again

But remember, God willing you are going to become a Geezer one day as well, gravity is going to do it's job and well um yea , you got the picture.

But just for the record, 1/2 of your post make my blood boil, the other half crack me up. I actually like ya, and if I wasn't one of the Geezers (all though I keep telling myself I am not) I may play the same games you do.
