39 and a little cloudy, but no snow on the horizon. Supposed to go up to 47, and "possibly" see a few sprinkles of rain.

It IS coming down very fast like rain. And I'd say for over 2 hours and still going. Grass is white, car is covered. It's very cool!

And if you want to be a REAL tourist geek you come to NM and ask to see the teepees the indians live in. :laugh2:

And to clarify: Pueblo indians lived in caves they cut out in the mountains. Plains indians used teepees. The only "plains" around here take off at the airport. :laugh:

Only teepees I've ever seen in NM are made of metal are at the NM Welcome Center on I-10 when you leave TX and enter NM. :laugh:

I gotta admit, I pretty much never wear shorts. If I do, my legs are white as a ghost! And it's even funnier, because my face gets nice and tanned in the summer, even reddish, then the upper half of my body gets a mild tan, and then the legs are skeletons!

According to Facebook, today is "national sibling day". This was posted there already but can't recall if posted here, but I probably did. Anyway, proof of the white legs!! It was about 274 degrees out that day. I am squinting because the sun is in my eyes. The shorts and shirt are baggy, so while I'm fat, just not that fat, yet. This was just a few moments after I met hjmick and then was gearing up to leave Charleston, SC. That's Jeff, myself, my brother John and then my brother Dan.

Wow...I'm not envying you. I hate snow. Yeah, it's pretty to LOOK at. But it's also wet, cold and makes quite the mess later on.

We got some much-needed spring rain yesterday and the plants I've planted thus far look like they grew two inches. Lovin it.
