More fruits of the obamanation my friend.
He'd have us ALL living in tents if he could manage it--when the hell are most Americans going to wake up to the fact that his communist piece of shit mother taught him to hate America?--Tyr

I saw a lot of that in Humboldt County CA, mostly McKinleyville.
They park on the side streets, dump trash outside, and would not
maintain the vehicle, often abandoning it.

It's a microcosm of what happens when willfully poor suddenly come into means. The litter and the trash of a living environment speaks volumes as to the content of their character. They likely feel out of control of their lives so they find control where they can, via vandalism of their own homes/home area, to theft and violence.

ANY poor who live in dirty, nasty, broken areas will not benefit regardless of any money thrown their way because those folks have no coping skills to deal with means, resources, or benefit.

IF they park in RV parks, who cares? Crap, now they're "homeless people"? Used to be they were retired people touring.

Better company than a woman. My first wife decided to quit smoking on a trip from San Diego to Camp Lejeune NC. If I didn't have kids in the back I'd have dove out the door by New Mexico. I thought for sure I'd been sentenced to Hell. F8ck, I couldn't even drive down a straight line highway in daylight without getting some shit.

Too bad. If only they were black RV owners.....the city or state would set aside designated freebie RV parks with tax-payer funded water and electricity hookups for them to use. Oh well....

I have to say honestly ... if you don't belong, I'll watch you like a hawk. The GF trips out when I do it. I mean, some common sense is required here. You park a bus in front of the house, I'm doing recon. But calling people homeless for living in their RVs is denigrating. Some people might like to live in their RVs. Beats cleaning house.

Or it's a rent issue:

Portland's rents rose at nation's sixth-fastest rate, study finds (http://www.oregonlive.com/front-porch/index.ssf/2015/03/portlands_rents_rose_at_nation.html)

I actually wouldn't care if you are my friend. I KNOW what electricity costs. You got an extension cord to your RV? Big deal. Use the hose every so often? Big deal. Friends are worth more than money. They can pitch in and I could care could care less if they're in my driveway.

And people that drive RVs know how to grill steaks. If you can grill a nice steak medium you can park in my damned driveway any day. Nothing better than a grilled steak, baked potato and a Corona. You'll be my new best friend. Warning: My GF might kick your ass for giving me alcohol.
