My Uncle joined the Marines in 1943. He died in Okinawa in 1945.
My Mom worked really hard for years to have him honored in my hometown. She finally received the letter stating that they will dedicate a bridge to Marshall Lee King. I am so proud of my Mom. I am even prouder of my Uncle Marshall Lee King. US Marine.
Our family have lived our lives with Marshall in mind. We all love him even though most of us never had the chance to know him.
I just wanted to say how proud I am of him, and my Mom. For making sure his life and service is honored for all time. :salute:I'll try to find a clearer picture. But at this point this is what I have on my computer
