I think this makes him more appealing. What say you all?

It does, but it looks like it's too late.

Obviously a move born from desperation

The Kasich ploy failed miserably

And now, Ted has been mathematically eliminated.

Yet, his ego won't let it go.

So he's brought out Carly (who also has an axe to grind)

And the "Loose with Cruz" platform is born

The goal here for Cruz and it probably has been for quite s while is to prevent Trump from getting to 1237 on first ballot. I think it's been a long time since CRUZ though he would reach 1237 before convention.

Cruz has been playing delegate chess. It's been pretty obvious for a month that the plan is a contested convention. I love it! He's playing inside the rules. I love strategic moves.

Were he ahead of Trump, would she still be his choice and would he have announced it now?

Highly unlikely. As much as I don't like Trump, Cruz is a close second on my list of people for whom I would not vote... For some reason he reminds me of the Martin Sheen character in The Dead Zone... That's scary...

I thinlk this is more about securing Indiana than anything else.If Cruz loses Indiana it really is over mathmatically and otherwise.

I have no beef against Carly but this is truly a desperate move Cruz just made IMHO.
STRATEGICALLY IT MAY END UP BEING A GREAT STROKE BUT TO ME IT EXHIBITS HIS
WIN AT ANY COSTS IDEOLOGY, IN WAR THAT IS FINE BUT THIS IS NOT WAR.
ONLY THE STINKING DEMS TREAT IT AS A WAR, BECAUSE TO THEM IT IS .
A CONSERVATIVE is not supposed to act like a lousy dem and dishonor himself.
If Cruz were leading he'd not have made this move...therefore its a desperation move.--Tyr

I take it this means she is campaigning in Indiana this week?

Now come on, no matter what he does it will be a 'desperation move', no? How is this a 'win at any cost' as in war?

I can't stand Cruz but ya gotta hand it to him. He battles and never quits.

No. It makes HER less appealing. It's a desperation move by Cruz. I like Carly, but if she has any hope of any future in politics she should distance herself from the 3 Stooges, IMO.

There's a part of me that thinks she may just want a few more swipes at Trump... Maybe even a shot at screwing him out of the nomination

I'm not a fan of Carly Fiorina but I thought this was interesting.

1) She's won a statewide primary in California.
2) She might be the messenger in the Republican Party.
3) Primary role of running mate is media attack dog, which she excels at.
4) She's liked by almost every Republican.
5) Her presence is a living, daily reminder of Trump's struggles with women.
6) This changes the phony narrative that it's over when it's not.

All good points, though with last nights results and Trump looking to win again next week, it's becoming likely he'll get the 1287 he needs.

You must be kidding. If any of these candidates on either side know ho to play chess, they can board up on me. I'll take whichever color.

I love strategic moves as well. I play to win. Not complete a disaster.
