IF ONE HONORS FREEDOM AND FREE SPEECH ONE SHOULD HONOR WHAT THAT FLAG STANDS FOR.
Those that enjoy those freedoms yet seek to destroy those freedoms are far worse than just hypocrites.
They are vermin , no different than cockroaches, leeches or maggots IMHO..

LIBERALS--LEFTISTS BOTH ROTTEN PEAS IN THE SAME POD--BOTH SEEK THE DESTRUCTION OF OUR CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC..

Excellent point. To me, it stands for serving with purity, honor, courage and willing sacrifice. For what do you believe it stands?

Bill of Rights, national sovereignty, individual security from powerful tyranny, courage in face of death , duty, honor , sacrifice and basic human freedoms..-Tyr

Don't get me wrong...the scouts did well. It is just that

Don't get me wrong...the scouts did well. It is just that
many do not understand the proper etiquette.

I've been to two and even with those few experiences, I could see that not all are of the same caliber. That said, the flag code doesn't prescribe any certain way of doing it, only that it's done with respect and solemnity for those who gave their lives to ensure Ol Glory could serve as a symbol of the freedoms upon which our Nation depends.

I've retired several over the years, in the Scouts,
military, and my private home.

Mine flies at home daily, except in Storm Force winds.
