Skin So Soft from Avon started out as a skin softener. It turned to be the best mosquito and sand flea repellent in the universe. They make more money on that crap at Parris Island than the Avon Lady.

Not sure about Rogaine, but there was another blood pressure medicine that morphed into a hair growing product in the 80s. I can't remember the name of it.

Vinegar, water and a piece of newspaper is the best window cleaner ever.

Newsprint polishes the glass better than a paper towel.
