It's more bother to get a driver's license than to buy an assault rifle.
Republicans are more worried about women getting birth control than they are loons getting weapons of mass destruction.
Kind of pathetic, but soon to change.

Preaching the same tired rhetoric as in other threads.
Why can't you keep your horse pocky in one thread than spread it out?
I could buy one in Orange County in 2 minutes...just got to approach the right gangsta.

This. I get tired of repeating myself in 6 or 7 threads because someone always thinks their take on a single situation somehow needs its own thread as if they have something special to say.
I'm calling bullshit on this one.....

I've sold a semi-auto in less than 7 minutes to a guy I knew in MI. (shrug)
Who gives a shit? Buying something doesn't make someone commit a crime.

Well, I guess it's a good thing that an AR-15 IS NOT an assault rifle then!! You said you have no issue with a shotgun, or a regular rifle. Well that's what these are - regular rifles, they just "look scary" to some who can't handle it. The one shot, one bullet is the same as the "nice looking" rifles that you think are OK to own.
Stolen happily from "Arkansas Armory" page on Facebook:
Some facts:
1. The AR-15 is not an "Assault Rifle"
2. The AR in AR-15 stands for ArmaLite, the company that originally made them.
3. The AR-15 is not an "automatic" weapon. It's a semi-automatic rifle. 1 shot per pull of the trigger, not 700 shots. It's not "select fire"
4. The firearm used in Orlando isn't even an AR-15. It was a Sig Sauer MCX.

Yes, they do. Trump does it. Hillary does it. If you are running for national office, you lie, cheat and steal.
That's not the point. The point is that there are legislators and other individuals that care more about their causes than your safety.

The point is - Dems are talking about how bad the AR-15 is after Orlando AND stating that's what he used. Then you trot in, title the thread about the AR-15, and talk about how it's an "assault rifle". Wrong on all accounts, just like the Dem leaders regurgitating this crap.

You are uninformed, at best. I'm not even going to comment on what you might be, at worst. But the AR-15 is NOT an ""assault weapon"".
Buy.....a.......clue.
It's not the Republicans that are selling this nation down the river to hell by coddling and protecting radical MUSLIM extremists. That would be the treasonous DemocRATs.

I have a friend in Houston that modified his AR-15 with a slide fire stock (http://www.slidefire.com/)and I'm telling ya....it is bad ass now.

You actually can't buy ANYTHING in 7 minutes in this country, much less a firearm. The thread title is BS. I've bought firearms in several different states and it takes longer to get it than it does to go through a box of ammo.

Hey. Gabby's in good company, a terrorist agrees with her, totally missing the irony:
Can it get any more ridiculous and self-unaware than this?

soooo how long should it take Gabby?
She past a background check annnd what else should be done?
A religious, political or mental test before purchase?
or an outright ban on the weapon?
what?
If someone's well trained and takes multiple handguns to do the same type of shooting, should they be banned too?

For the record? Things I can do in 7 minutes:
Fire through probably 400 rounds of AR15 ammo. More if i'm using 100-round drums.
Have sex, twice. With a partner, once.
Ban Gabby 20 times, because he is an awful person who lies about his life and identity.
Complete 3/4ths of the Nordschleiffe of the Nurburgring in my 99 320i.
Order and consume a doner.
Sleep through 7/9ths of my Snooze.

Thing is, I'm starting to smell a rat. Last time I checked, you couldn't buy an AR-15 in CA. So unless something's changed since CA banned everything they deemed an assault rifle, you couldn't legally buy one there period.

Reading the article I see this twit also drove to the police afterwards and gave up the gun? After paying like $800? I thank her for her support to the gun community and local gun shops! She made an ass out of herself for a discounted price of eight hundred bucks!!

True enough. Last I checked those things ran around $12-1500.

In the article she claims she told them she was on a budget, so they sold her an AR-15 for $799, and then she walked out with a box with "Smith and Wesson emblazoned" on it. Methinks she is overflowing out her ears with BS.

That I don't know. I don't recall ever seeing a box of S&W rounds. My guess would be it was used if she got it at that price. Those things go for twice as much new. And that was last time I looked at one 10 years ago. I'm not a fan of the AR-15/M-16.
