What I always found interesting whenever we moved to Monterey so my father could go to DLI, is that I was bored in school. I was learning crap in the 6th grade in CA I learned in the 3rd grade in Texas. And their idea of lunch is a joke. In Texas, you got a hot meal on a tray. In CA, you got a crappy sandwich in a box for twice the price. I told my mom to just make me a sammich.

California school systems just suck.
