Ilike the show but it looks like a Marine Corps test. It's designed for you to fail. Ninjutsu is designed to succeed. I look at some of the crap these people do and I'm amazed. What part of swinging from a wheel over water to another wheel has anything to do with ninjutsu? They come up with the dumbest crap.

I hate that show. All those people make me sick with what they can do. Maybe when I was like 14 or so, but now that would be a death trap for me. Actually fun watching sometimes. :)

Another feeble attempt at a 'Reality Show'...unrealistic entirely.

Only thing I can tell about reality shows is they aren't reality. Looks to me like to beat that obstacle course is hand strength and agility. I just get tired of them coming up with this stupid sh*t. I took marital arts for 35 years. There's nothing "ninja" about this show.

I like the show's extreme realism. There's no faking. Sure the obstacles are ridiculous. But it's inspiring as much as it's depressing :)

I'll sit and watch it. Some of these people are amazing. Bit to use the term "ninja". Ninja means assassin not athlete.

eh...(shrug). It's the name the japanese picked...we just use it cuz it's fun. Started out, iirc, as 'tasks a ninja would have to do' and stuff, as he went around being a ninja.

I'll refer you back to my first post. I like the show, but it's designed. I also like the Reebok one one on ESPN. As lifter for years and years (centuries if you ask Jim), I can relate. Don't remember the name of it. Rich Froehning was the bad boy.

But I agree, they ARE reality. I don't watch any of this other fake "reality" crap. Turns me right off.

Definitely designed to fail. Everything is hands, arms and shoulders. You can build up only so much lactic acid. That is actually what kills you, not muscle failure. This whole course does nothing but build it up.

Thus guy is 5' 6" 136 pounds. That's an adult? I was that big in 8th grade.
