I honestly didn't even look. While of course the entire election process is something that I love, I've been deflated a little bit, and have serious concerns about our entire system of government, or at least to the honesty and integrity of it. :(

An observation, THIS and VP pick were the BIG stories all this morning. At 12 pm here, the narrative just changed to Trump suing former aide for $10M for non-disclosure agreement breach. Unreal. Why?

An affair that was reported back in May:

White House Watch: Trump 44%, Clinton 37%

Just days before the Republican National Convention is expected to formally nominate him for president, Donald Trump has taken his largest lead yet over Hillary Clinton.

The latest Rasmussen Reports weekly White House Watch survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with 44% support to Clinton’s 37%. Thirteen percent (13%) favor some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

This is the third week in a row that Trump has held the lead, although last week he was ahead by a statistically insignificant 42% to 40%. This week’s findings represent Trump’s highest level of support in surveys since last October and show Clinton continuing to lose ground.

Poll Finds Emails Weighing on Hillary Clinton, Now Tied With Donald Trump

Hillary Clinton has emerged from the F.B.I. investigation into her email practices as secretary of state a wounded candidate with a large and growing majority of voters saying she cannot be trusted, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.

As Mrs. Clinton prepares to accept the Democratic Party’s nomination at the convention in Philadelphia this month, she will confront an electorate in which 67 percent of voters say she is not honest and trustworthy. That number is up five percentage points from a CBS News poll conducted last month, before the F.B.I. released its findings.

Mrs. Clinton’s six-percentage-point lead over the presumptive Republican nominee, Donald J. Trump, in a CBS News poll last month has evaporated. The two candidates are now tied in a general election matchup, the new poll indicates, with each receiving the support of 40 percent of voters.

This is not good for the parties:

The 'winner' in this poll is anyone else.

With aggregate polls, where Hillary had a huge lead once, and was just over 6% a few weeks back, is continuing it's slide and is now at 2.7. Yes, I'm aware we still have 4 months to go, but the trend since Comey's announcement is nice to see.
