I'm sure Ryan is thrilled to no end, he was only leading at something like 70%. LOL!

Report: Trump to endorse Paul Ryan at Wisconsin rally tonight

POSTED AT 2:01 PM ON AUGUST 5, 2016 BY ALLAHPUNDIT

This might be the first time Trump gets booed (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/08/05/trump-expected-to-endorse-ryan-gop-sources-say.html) at one of his own rallies.

Total cuck move, bro:

Donald Trump is expected to endorse House Speaker Paul Ryan R-Wis., Friday, two highly placed Republican officials tell Fox News — just days after the Republican presidential nominee declined to back Ryan when asked in an interview…

“I like Paul. I like Paul. But these are horrible times for our country. We need very strong leadership. We need very, very strong leadership. And I’m just not quite there. I’m not quite there yet,” Trump said [several days ago].

Trump’s use of the phrase “not quite there yet,” echoed Ryan’s own hesitancy to back Trump. When asked if he would endorse the billionaire in May, Ryan told CNN: “I’m just not ready to do that at this point. I’m not there right now.”

To make this extra awkward, number-one Trump fan Ann Coulter will be in Ryan’s district tomorrow to campaign with his opponent, Paul Nehlen (https://twitter.com/pnehlen/status/760320230480642052). More than a half dozen former Trump campaign staffers are working for Nehlen (http://www.politico.com/story/2016/08/donald-trump-paul-ryan-226593) as I write this. Here’s how a traditional politician would have gone about making a decision on whether to back Ryan: “I know my base will be annoyed if I support their globalist bete noire, but I could strangle a kitten onstage and they’ll still vote for me. Meanwhile, Ryan’s headed for a mega-landslide (http://hotair.com/archives/2016/08/05/wisconsin-squeaker-nehlen-closes-in-on-ryan-comes-within-70-points/) in all of the impartial polls. Even my own campaign manager thinks he’s a lock to win. If I endorse him, I’ll get credit for being a team player at a moment when the party is struggling to unify and I’ll get to say, implausibly or not, that it was my endorsement that contributed to Ryan’s gigantic win after it happens. If I hold out instead, I’ll be blamed if he loses and I’ll be attacked for having no influence over Republican voters if he wins.”

Instead, Trump’s thought process appears to have gone like this: “I don’t like that Ryan keeps disagreeing with me. I’m holding out!”

Having decided to hold out, the smart play at this point would have been to demonstrate resolve by continuing to hold out, let Ryan win his race, and then congratulate him warmly on Tuesday. It’s dumb to turn around three days after claiming he wasn’t ready to endorse and say “okay, I’m ready now!”, especially when the papers are running stories about Reince Priebus chewing him out on the phone for not embracing his buddy Ryan. Now Trump looks like he’s doing Reince’s bidding. Who’s the alpha male here?

Exit quotation from Ryan (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/08/05/heck-if-i-know-ryan-says-when-asked-for-an-update-on-trump-spat/), when asked this morning what the latest was on Trump endorsing him or not: “Heck if I know. I’m not going to try to psychoanalyze this stuff.”

 He just keeps magnifying all of these negatives. Why hrc sucks, why his policies are better, complete sentences. Three steps to success.

Here's something else to consider concerning Trump in general.

If he loses. .
will he still be a player in the GOP? will he try to run for another office or try to help other republicans?
Or will he go back to buying politician... I mean... making donations for personal and business favors from both sides of the isles?

What's the future for a Trump who's a LOSER?

Since Mexico was going to pay for the wall anyway, and he's the best and smartest negotiator with a good brain, is it possible that Trump could make that happen anyway? Mexico could build it on their side right? and keep their rapist at home.

His primary run lifted scales from my eyes. While I had been active in the GOP in my home county in IL, had worked on Bush 2000 National Campaign, I really thought most folks that were Republican were more or less conservatives. This election showed that is not the case.

I've never been a strict party voter, but when in doubt, went Republican. No more.

He not only endorsed Ryan, but McCain and Ayotte too. He read it aloud from a paper-heartfeltly. Does this mean 'unity?'

Republican nominee Donald Trump endorsed Paul Ryan at his Friday night rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, just days after rattling the GOP by withholding his support for the House speaker in his primary.

"In our shared mission to make America great again, I support and endorse our Speaker of the House Paul Ryan," Trump said, stressing the need for party unity as he read from a set of notes on his podium. “We need unity. We have to win this election. This is truly one of the most important elections in my lifetime."

Acknowledging the need to work with Congress to accomplish his agenda, Trump went on to endorse Sens. John McCain of Arizona and Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire, both of whom he also had pointedly declined to endorse in recent interviews.

“While I’m at it, I hold in the highest esteem Sen. John McCain for his service to our country in uniform and in public office and I fully support and endorse his reelection," Trump said.

Trump, who previously criticized McCain for being captured as a Navy pilot during the Vietnam War, enraged Republican Party officials earlier this week when he refused to endorse some of the party's leading lights. On Friday, citing Republican icon and former President Ronald Reagan, Trump reversed his position, stressing the need to bring back the GOP's "big tent."

“I need a Republican Senate and a House to accomplish all of the changes that we have to make,” the New York billionaire said. “So I embrace the wisdom that my 80 percent friend is not my 20 percent enemy.”

Praising Ayotte as "a rising star" in the GOP, Trump touted the virtues of party unity.

“Working hand-in-hand we will grow our majority in the House and in the Senate,” he said. “Arm-in-arm we will rescue the nation from the Obama-Clinton disaster that has bled our country dry and spread terrorism unabated across the world.”

Ryan is expected to easily defeat his challenger, Paul Nehlen, but Trump’s hesitation to endorse the GOP's congressional leader raised new concerns this week as the party looked to project a unified front following the Republican National Convention.

Isn't great to see someone from the outside with so much character and wealth they can't be pressured. Man! How refreshing is that! :puke3:

You doubt his sincerity? No one could push him around, not Putin, no one!

I wonder if he's still having fun?

He did kind of leave Ann Coulter hanging out with Ryan's 'opposition:'
