Hovered around 100 degrees for the few days there, so that made things a little unpleasant, but was great to see my Dad and have some good eating out there! I snapped a few photos with my phone, but nothing spectacular.

Arriving off of our exit in Morgantown, headed towards Blue Ball :)

This house is great, it's built half into the ground, and the front looks perfectly normal. This is right around the corner from the campground I grew up going to.

The best breakfast place in the entire world! I ate about 65lbs of bacon!!

They have some HUGE Koi in the pond just out front

Not your ordinary place to eat, it's HUGE and beautiful. It seats 1200 for breakfast. Here's how the lobby areas look

These little bastards ran from me!! Roosters? Chickens? Hell if I know! They were fast little fuckers

At the Mill Bridge campground, another place I used to stay when I was a kid, with an aging covered bridge out front

And the entrance to it, closed off of course, VERY old

We also went to the Green Dragon flea market while out there, and I bought myself another "Make America Great Again" hats! And even better, I got 2 awesome t-shirts!!

HAD to get the Hillary for Prison shirt

Also bought this Trump shirt, that's both sides of it :)

And here is the video of the train leaving the station. I suck at taking videos with the movement, but the clarity ain't half bad for a cell phone!

That's odd? They look fine from my side. Maybe I'll resize and upload again, each damn photo was like 5MB.

I got the Kunzler's sweet lebanon this time, and also tried Baum's. I bought 1 pound, all for myself! I'll snap a photo of that when I feed the fat guy. :)

In no particular order, in case I screwed up the uploads above. Can anyone else see the first set I uploaded, that HJ has an issue with?

Thanks from a Pennsylvania, born, and bred boy for the photo's jim. The lebonnon balony is a fond memory of almost daily lunches, made by my mother when I brown-bagged every day to school.
My parents are both buried in Birdsboro...just next to Ephreta, down the road from Blue Ball.

Did you get to Lancaster, and the Dutch country? Shoe Fly Pie, Scrapple, and Schmorgesbord (sp?) with some of the finest Home Made Food anywhere.
I was born in Norristown, 3 miles from Valley Forge Park, and 3 from King Of Prussia. 20 from Philly.

Jim, I had no problem with photos, video was blank for me!

I love the pics, I've only driven through PA, but the food was awesome!

There were a few weird signs for sale down by the Strasburg railroad. I looked at one and the price was $600, so I turned around.. :)

I love Pennsylvania. I grew up camping in New Holland and going to Lancaster almost daily. No more of that damn shoo fly pie for me, might as well just open the molasses and drink it straight! And yep, we went to Shady Maple AND Yoders for the extended smorgasbord breakfasts. Everyone LOVES the scrapple - except for me. That stuff is nasty! LOL

We were in Bird in Hand for a market, and another in Blue Ball. A lot of time was spent out on the "main strip" by all of the outlet malls as well.

I was in Ephrata! That's where the Green Dragon market is at. VERY nice area.

Were you able to see both sets of pictures? And no video. Weird. It's an MP4 file I uploaded to youtube. Maybe I should convert it first. I can see it but who the hell knows!

There are family style eating joints like every 2 miles, hard not to enjoy the great foods out there. You should try to get to the Lancaster area and actually stay. It's so beautiful, and relaxing and lots of great shopping! And it's nice to see so many friendly people, especially the Amish folks, after being in NY!!

Yes, I saw both groups of pics from beginning. The video may be a problem with my being on chromebook.

We drove the highway through PA on way to DC, though we did stop at Gettysburg. There were great places in Amish Country, you are so right on that. Good food and lots of it! The scenery of rolling, green hills was gorgeous and the barns were nearly always painted.

Great pics!

I've been to Dutch Wonderland and Shady Maple. I was all psyched to hit the other side of the buffet; then realized it was just a repeat of the first one, lol. Glutton that I am!

That's hilarious, I just did the same thing! That buffet line is SO long that I figured there HAD to be something different on the other side of the building! :)

I'm using Chrome too! Still no video....see the https: above? You have to edit OUT the 's', and that works for me every time. (The S stands for SECURE, or guarded if you need to know) Removing the 'S' allows the HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) to change the value. Should work.
