View Full Version : Being Mean and/or a Crybaby

I don't get the mean thing. Yes, I can be violent as Hell and am well-trained at it. But I am not a mean person and I don't understand mean and hateful people. I spend most of my life just getting through the day.

And if you come on a message board and open your mouth, expect return fire. This ain't a one-way street. There's no crying in baseball. Get out and play or stay under the damned bench.

I'm sick of crybabies. I'm surrounded by more now than when I was a Marine. Stop the damned whining already and man your line. You are responsible for your words. Someone's going to disagree. Kinda how that whole "debate policy" thing works.

You're kidding, right? I'd share that bottle of Cuervo with that little Hispandex in a heartbeat. Back in the day, anyway. Tequila makes me a total whack job from Hell. I will kick your ass, your father's ass and your unborn childrens' asses. :laugh2:

Same here, I get friendlier and friendlier as the tequila goes on though, until I had one too many and need a nap in the bar bathroom. :)

Just drank a boat-load of Patron home-made Margaritas, including fresh-squeezed limes, on vacation. Yum yum.

I'm actually a friendly drunk. Right until I've had one too many and you walk up and say "So, you're one of those f-cking Marines and think you're tough, huh?" But not on Cuervo. You give that sh*t tome you might as well piss off the Hulk. I quit drinking that crap years ago. I'm bad enough on Jack. I can't handle tequila. And I hate jail. One usually ends in the other.

It's so fascinating how alcohol affects people differently. It's always made me more affectionate, and I think everything is funny. But I have rarely gotten drunky-drunk, either.

It's different depending on your situation. I am a Marine. Was a powerlifter. I'm still bigger than most people. Every little guy in the bar who had 2 beers would try to start crap. I was always like, I'll buy you a drink to go away. That was one thing I really hated.

You know I never met someone in a bar who wasn't special forces? I guess cooks and supply don't go to bars. must be restricted space for us grunts. Clue #1 is if you are SF you ain't trying to prove sh*t to anyone. We don't care. Leave me the f*ck alone and go back to your corner impressing your fat chicks. Tell them you scared me. Just go the f*ck away. And don't f*cking piss me off when I'm drinking.

I had seen that so often, but it does not take long for them to trip up.
Real SF people do not walk around and brag about it.

I saw one in my favorite eatery in Trinidad CA one morning wearing
all sorts of badges on a boonie hat, telling the owner's wife how great he was.
I asked him where he served and what outfit. Told me 'Nam and the outfit
was classified! I looked at him and told him he was too young for 'Nam.
He left and never came back.

I don't get it. Want the title but you ain't got the heartache. Same goes on the Mall in DC. How can you be a Vietnam vet and younger than I am? I'm 5 years too young to be a Vietnam vet. I grew up with them and worked for them, but I never claimed to be one.

WHy can't these people just be who they are? I've rarely been ashamed of being just me. There ain't a damned thing heroic about war. Fist clue "how many people have you killed?'

I don't know. I know how many I saved.
