Seriously it does seem that some of the best advice for Trump is coming from folks that likely are not voting for him, (See what I bolded at the end.) The doc is seriously pretty funny:

Trump’s doctor: Yeah, I wrote the letter attesting to his health in five minutes while a limo waited. What about it?

Seems legit. (http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/trump-doctor-wrote-health-letter-just-5-minutes-limo-waited-n638526?cid=sm_tw)

We should all be able to agree on this much: It would be disappointing if Trump’s doctor wasn’t a colorful, made-for-TV character prone to dashing off something as momentous as a clean bill of health for the Republican nominee for president while a car waits. When the news teases an interview with Donald Trump’s doctor, no one wants Marcus Welby walking through the door. We want a long-haired guy on a unicycle juggling torches, babbling about yuuuge test results.

One thing about Trump’s surrogates is that they’re never, ever boring. Not even the guy who checks his prostate.

Donald Trump’s personal physician said he wrote a letter declaring Trump would be the healthiest president in history in just five minutes while a limo sent by the candidate waited outside his Manhattan office…

“If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency,” Bornstein wrote.

Asked how he could justify the hyperbole, Bornstein said, “I like that sentence to be quite honest with you and all the rest of them are either sick or dead.”…

The doctor said he would not normally use such over-the-top language in a letter for a patient but he made an exception for Trump.

“I think I picked up his kind of language and then just interpreted it to my own,” he said.

He did spend the day thinking about what he was going to say, he notes, he just didn’t get around to banging it out on the computer until a Trump envoy was outside the door waiting. And he’s been Trump’s doctor for decades. People on Twitter are bickering about whether a short letter confirming Trump’s good health satisfies Trump’s promise of a “full medical report” (https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/672401996826206208) (the letter released by Hillary’s doctor last summer was just two pages (https://www.scribd.com/document/321099699/Hillary-Clinton-Health-Record-2015)), but it’s not as if Bornstein isn’t in a position to make a well-informed judgment. He had 35 years’ worth of data to back up his opinion. When NBC asked him if Trump’s health was as great as the letter suggests, Bornstein said he was no better or worse off than anyone who exercises every day and doesn’t smoke or drink, all behaviors associated with good health. Which, I assume, means he’s better off than Hillary (http://freebeacon.com/issues/hillary-drinks/).

As for what got NBC sniffing around Trump’s doctor’s office in the first place, I assume this is big-media payback for Republicans speculating about Hillary’s physical fitness for office, from vague insinuations about “stamina” by Trump himself to chatter on blogs and Hannity’s show about whether she’s hiding some serious health problem. If Trump’s as healthy as he claims, and as he seems, he should float the idea of the two of them being examined by some as yet unagreed upon independent physician who’ll be authorized to publish the results of his findings. If Clinton refuses, that’ll increase the suspicions about her health among voters. If she calls his bluff and accepts, and ends up with a clean bill of health, that’s solid proof that she’s not hiding anything. Who’s healthier? A competition more interesting than the debates!
