The swing in the numbers is still slowly changing. CNN has Trump with a 2 point lead. 45% with all 4 and 49% with just the 2. Those mid-high 40's numbers is a big change from Trump's much earlier numbers, and shows his support has been slowly growing.

Donald Trump has rebounded from a healthy deficit to take a 2-point national lead over Hillary Clinton in the latest CNN/ORC poll.

The results:

Trump: 45 percent;
Clinton: 43 percent;
Libertarian Gary Johnson: 7 percent;
Green Party's Jill Stein: 2 percent.

Clinton led Trump by 8 points in the CNN/ORC in early August, a post-Democratic convention bounce for Clinton.

Despite Trump's lead, most voters surveyed believe Clinton will win — 59 percent. Just 34 percent think Trump will win the election, according to CNN.

And that's BEFORE she starts having press conferences.

Historically, the more she talks to the press, the worse she looks.

I heard she did meet with the press on her plane yesterday, finally. They asked how she was doing and if she's ready! That's as tough as it gets for her. :rolleyes:

Just reading that just a few moments ago. I'm not saying she is about to die, but these coughing fits have got to be more than "pollen". I think being out there in a long campaign is taking its toll on her. And of course, as you already know, I have no sympathy for her. :)

Trump may as well drop out now. She's got him on the ropes after that "press conference".

Clinton Camp Cuts Off Press When Asked About Poll Showing Her Trailing Trump

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJQF7u4PVPc

Tuesday on her campaign plane, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s communications director Jennifer Palmieri cut off a reporter asking about a CNN national poll showing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump leading her 45 percent to 43 percent.

When a reporter asked, “What do you think about the CNN poll that shows you…” Palmieri quickly inserted “OK, we’ll come back.”

Clinton added, “We’ll come back. We’ll come back, guys. We’ll come back. Just saying good morning.”

A friend and I were talking last night about what would happen if Hillary were to die the night before the election. Would they suspend the election? How would that work?

Do you mean - do they temporarily suspend the election so as not to get in the way of the celebration? That was mean of me. :)

That is a good question though. And I haven't a clue to the answer.

With her health, she could die suddenly. And Trump is no spring chicken.
