I'm terribly discriminating when it comes to coffee. Life is just too short to tolerate substandard imitations.

Here's the best I've found and it's the only stuff I'll buy anymore - use a French Press with this stuff and it'll roll your eyes!

And I know the truth to that statement- you LOVE your coffee!

Assuming I can even find this on Amazon, is it worth brewing in a regular coffee maker?

These guys have their roaster operation a few miles from my house here... I don't think they're on Amazon but you can order it straight from them in that link.

They're just a little operation, but man did they get it right!

I'm brewing in a regular drip coffee maker most of the time, but when you use the French Press it leaves that awesome natural oil that kicks it up to heavenly territory!

Too late- I just ordered it!

I was pleasantly surprised that shipping from Alaska was only $7.00 I suppose it's going to take a while, lol.

How weird is it that you just ordered coffee from AK? :laugh2:

I know! Just goes to show how much I value your coffee acumen- I put my money where your mouth is. (Oh- that doesn't sound right).

I need K cups for my Keurig machine, do they make K cups?

I'm positive they don't... they're just a small roastery.

We don't have a Keurig, we have two of these (one for the house, one for the R/V)

I got myself a few of these already, but they're messy and a pain in the ass! I have a few that aren't disposable, you just clean them after every use. Too much work for little reward!! :)

It's a little pricey for as much coffee as I go through but I'll order a bag and try it. I brew a hot pot and cold brew out of every bag of coffee I get and then we rate them. I write it on the bag for future reference.

I just talked to my friends that planted coffee plants for me on their property in Hawaii. I have about 2 years to learn how to roast and what I wanna do with my coffee beans.

That's quite the little appliance. Is the griddle removable for cleaning?

Yes it does! Quite easy to disassemble really.
I originally picked it up for the R/V. Thought that it would cut down on my use of pans in the A/M :laugh2:

Found out that the coffee from it was better and we started wasting less. So I brought it into the house when our little "escapes" were done.

Then we left on one of our trips in a bit of a hurry. Found out when I started setting up camp I had forgotten some of the gear.

So now I have two. And one NEVER leaves "Matilda" anymore

I took a look at their website. It turns out that they don't consider international shipping other than to Canada ... a pity.

Mr, Rick - not feeling up to par, but we need to make sure you have my address if I didn't give to you already. Fedex will work for me!! We'll talk in the next few days, I'd like to try it!! I still have an old coffee maker, and if it's good coffee, then it's worth having a few makers running side by side. :) :)

Lol! I made the coffee, drank it, and went back to bed. Low energy day...

Anyway, I'm not the connoisseur that you guys are, but it smelled delish, and tasted really good. It has to me that oily roasted character often missing in coffees.
I was wondering if I measured wrong, because it wasn't quite as strong as I expected. I think I had it in my mind that it was going to be extremely strong.

Definitely recommended!

I got a kick out of drinking something that was just a few days ago in Alaska, too!

**Russ will have to report after work.

I make it very strong. Try it in the French Press if you didn't already, but you have to make it strong - at least to my taste, anyway!

Lol, sorry NT! It's just now login time in the ART time zone.

Denali Dark Roast is excellent - I chugged two mugs of it this morning before work, where I registered a productivity increase of 17% over yesterday :)

Flavor is great, and not the same as Sumatra and Italian. Thanks for putting us onto it!

(Btw, I've always preferred the first Half of Half n Half- how about you all?)

sometimes if outside much on such a morn -will add a small shot of whiskey to that cup--to nip the cold.-;)
Got that little medicinal recipe from my dad. -Tyr
