You would think being a state trooper #1 you no better then to drink and drive and #2 Why would you not have insurance on your vehicle it's a state law.

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- A Kentucky state trooper was indicted Wednesday on six counts related to a vehicle collision that left five people injured.
Police said Larry “Buddy” Carey, 38, of Dry Ridge, was intoxicated July 4 when he lost control of his car and struck another vehicle head-on.
He faces two counts of first-degree assault and wanton endangerment, and one count of driving under the influence and driving without insurance.
Carey, a 12-year veteran of Kentucky state police, was off duty and driving his personal vehicle at the time of the crash, which injured four members of a Williamstown family.
He has been suspended without pay until criminal and administrative investigations have been completed, authorities said.
