Seems AG Lynch is still protecting Hillary and trying to shield her from facing justice

When FBI Director James Comey wrote his bombshell letter to Congress (https://www.yahoo.com/news/clinton-campaign-hits-fbi-director-comey-for-email-announcement-173838293.html?soc_src=mail&soc_trk=ma) on Friday about newly discovered emails that were potentially “pertinent” to the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server, agents had not been able to review any of the material, because the bureau had not yet gotten a search warrant to read them, three government officials who have been briefed on the probe told Yahoo News.
At the time Comey wrote the letter, “he had no idea what was in the content of the emails,” one of the officials said, referring to recently discovered emails that were found on the laptop of disgraced ex-Rep. Anthony Weiner (https://www.yahoo.com/news/report-new-clinton-emails-under-fbi-review-came-from-anthony-weiner-investigation-195909998.html?soc_src=mail&soc_trk=ma), the estranged husband (https://www.yahoo.com/news/huma-abedin-anthony-weiner-000000126.html?soc_src=mail&soc_trk=ma) of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin. Weiner is under investigation for allegedly sending illicit text messages to a 15-year-old girl.
As of Saturday night, the FBI was still in talks with the Justice Department about obtaining a warrant that would allow agency officials to read any of the newly discovered Abedin emails, and therefore was still in the dark about whether they include any classified material that the bureau has not already seen.
“We do not have a warrant,” a senior law enforcement official said. “Discussions are under way [between the FBI and the Justice Department] as to the best way to move forward.”
That Comey and other senior FBI officials were not aware of what was in the emails — and whether they contained any material the FBI had not already obtained — is important because Donald Trump’s campaign and Republicans in Congress have suggested (https://www.yahoo.com/news/donald-trump-cheers-fbis-renewed-look-at-clinton-emails-182842498.html?soc_src=mail&soc_trk=ma) that the FBI director would not have written his letter unless he had been made aware of significant new emails that might justify reopening the investigation into the Clinton server.
But a message that Comey wrote to all FBI agents Friday seeking to explain his decision to write the controversial letter strongly hinted that investigators did not not yet have legal authority establishing “probable cause” to review the content of Abedin’s emails on Weiner’s electronic devices.

This might serve as a damage limitation ploy (?). But it's inadequate, surely ... even if it lasts up to election day, this whole matter will still drag Hillary's image down in the eyes of the voters. Add to this whatever Trump may have to say between now and then .. and a Trump win is surely on the cards .... :D

and liberals, the media, and Hillary backers will blame sexism and hate. But they will NEVER blame Hillary who brought all of this on herself due to greed and desire to enrich herself while Sec of State

If true, this may explain the letter to Congressional leaders.

OFFICIAL: FBI AGENTS KNEW FOR WEEKS ABOUT EMAILS' EXISTENCESunday, October 30, 2016 06:30PM

WASHINGTON --
FBI investigators in the Anthony Weiner sexting probe knew for weeks about the existence of newly discovered emails potentially related to the investigation of Hillary Clinton's private email server, a law enforcement official said Sunday.

In his letter that roiled the White House race, FBI Director James Comey said he was briefed last Thursday about that development and had agreed that investigators should take steps to review the emails for any classified information.

He alerted Congress on Friday that the bureau had found emails in an unrelated case that might be relevant to the Clinton inquiry.

The emails were found on a device that belonged to Weiner, the estranged husband of close Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

A second law enforcement official also said the FBI was aware for a period of time about the emails before Comey was briefed, but wasn't more specific.

It was not immediately clear Sunday what steps investigators took once the emails were first found to fully advise FBI leaders that additional and potentially relevant messages had been discovered.

They now have the warrant, and based on what I have seen on TV, there are thousands of emails to review

The drip, drip, drip, has turned into a waterfall

Listening to Clinton surrogate this early morning, 'In all likelihood, these emails are probably duplicates of what we've already seen...'

Now that the warrants have been issued, it appears Huma is lawyering up; they are being more careful with language, (likelihood), getting ready to throw Huma under the bus.
