Things sure as hell got shook up by the FBI last week, and deservedly so. IMO, she should just be indicted already, the emails are there. In the mean time, we deal with what is in front of us, unfortunately. What we have seen thus far has dropped her a lot in the national polls, down from like a 7 point lead to a 2 point lead now. But it won't be enough. He gained in a few battleground states while a few others remain the same. And then don't forget, even if he were to magically win the popular vote, it's the electorate that matters, and all that matters in the end. It still appears that witch is in the driving seat with her broom. She may even have numbers close to what Obama did. :( I SO SO SO hope I'm wrong, but just being realistic based on everything I have read, seen and listened to. Will Wiki come out with anything else? Will it matter and will there even be time?' Most importantly from what I have seen - does either side care? Have we heard all we are going to hear from independents or other folks that may vote, that we haven't heard from thus far in this election season?

Some polls I see get me excited, and they have climbed and climbed since Comey's letter. But a one off poll can't beat out the aggregate. I'll read an article talking about him still having a chance, but they are few and far in between.

A professional liar. Scandal ridden for over 30 years. Blood on hands from death in Benghazi. Collusion with the FBI. Collusion with the DOJ. Collusion with various media outlets. No care in the world about protecting national security. Thinks she is above the law, and gets treated as such. The things over the years, directly politically related, and she has this amount of support, and will sit in the WH again. We discussed this in 2008 and 2012 about how many idiots there are in the nation. But oh boy, they are reproducing!! :(

Like I said before though, we'll survive, and in the mean time we will need to fight back as hard as possible to protect from any damage she may try and inflict. Starting with the SC, but I don't think there will be much to do about that. Just pray that the other elderly members don't die.

I so hope that I'm wrong in my predictions, and that they have extremely good reason for being panicked. https://i.imgur.com/Ayfbc3m.png

It's looking good.

All she can do now is launch a Bullshit Blitzkrieg and it doesn't matter if it's credible or not - and it's having a reverse effect.

All Trump has to do now is allow her to finish wrecking her campaign. If he fucks up now, it's all over.

The electorate though, my friend. With all of that, she still leads the electorate. 6 days left. I think about 8 or 8 battlegrounds? Somehow he would need to be able to win the majority of them, and he currently is behind I think in 5 of them?

I think you're right on this. Hillary hasn't anything left other than trash talking, after all the 'they go low, we'll go high.' They are going very low, while the news is filled with FBI and Wikileaks.

Trump has a chance.

See, now reading things like this gives me hope. But then of course you see it's an unheard of poll, at least to me. If on the up and up, unlike os many others that sample like 70% democrat, then that's a huge change in one month. But one poll, out of hundreds.

-----

Poll: Donald Trump Takes 3-Point Lead in Virginia — 15-Point Swing in Past Month

NEW YORK CITY, New York — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has taken the lead in the latest poll out of the battleground state of Virginia, with his Democrat rival Hillary Clinton slipping 15 points in a month.

The Hampton University Center for Public Policy (CPP) poll out on Wednesday afternoon shows that Trump has taken a three-point lead over Clinton in the Old Dominion, inside the poll’s margin of error of 4.57 percent. The survey of 802 Virginians, taken from Oct. 26 through Oct. 30—meaning it was conducted both before and after the FBI announced its reopening of the criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s illicit home brew email server—found Trump at 44 percent and Clinton at 41 percent.

A release from the University notes that Trump had already started closing the gap in Virginia before FBI director James Comey’s announcement, in his letter to Congress, but that Clinton was ahead by a small margin then. It was after the FBI announcement that the bottom dropped out of Clinton’s campaign in Virginia, boosting Trump way over her.

And from that poll:

Hampton University's CPP Latest Poll Shows VA Voter Shift from Clinton to Trump Post Email Investigation

Hampton, Va.— The latest Hampton University Center for Public Policy (CPP) poll reveals that the FBI’s decision to reopen the Hillary Clinton email investigation may have triggered a boost for Donald Trump with likely voters in Virginia.

Democratic Presidential nominee Clinton had a two point lead before the email news story broke on Friday Oct. 28. She is now trailing three points behind Republican Presidential nominee Trump.

With only six days left before the November Presidential election, Trump has jumped ahead of Clinton, erasing a 12 point deficit reported by the CPP in early October. This surge for Trump demonstrates again how erratic the run for the White House has been as we head into the final days of Decision 2016. This is the first time Clinton has trailed in the CPP polls this year, the latest poll was conducted Oct. 26-30.

They're really a wildcard up here lately. Lisa Murkowski lost the Republican primary last election and mounted a successful write-in campaign, driven by all the villages.

The problem is that the democrats have been targeting them recently and offering them free money and they're beginning to be corrupted into the old ghetto welfare mindset.

But it's still MY ISLAND! I'll keep things secured up here, BD you need to focus on NV.

Jim, we're going to need you over in PA to ride herd.

I'm afraid though, that we see polls like this that we didn't see much of in the past year. The IBD/TIPP they say is the most accurate, has them tied at 44. But that's national. It's the electorate that has me most concerned. Somehow he needs to pull out those battleground states. Some have different ideas of which states are the battleground states. Here are those from realclearpolitics, probably too many, but the list anyway. If the aggregates are accurate: (btw, many are listed as going downward)

Florida - Trump 0.7
Ohio - Trump 3.3
Pennsylvania - 4.9
Colorado - Clinton 2.4
North Carolina - tie
Virginia - Clinton 4.7
Nevada - Trump 1.6
Wisconsin - Clinton 5.4
Michigan - Clinton 5.7
New Hampshire - Clinton 4.7
Maine - Clinton 6.6
Georgia - Trump 5.7
Iowa - Trump 1.4
Arizona - Trump up 3

Yeah, I don't know why the numbers are so much different with RCP - I can only guess that they're lagging and haven't adjusted for the average from prior to Comey's surprise good news.

Take the NC numbers - RCP is saying a tie, where WRAL has it +7 Trump.

I suspect we'll see a startling upswing for Trump in a couple days when more polls are refreshed for the average.

True, the electoral college is the key... but most states have a "winner take all" policy regarding electors... i.e. whoever wins the popular vote in those states gets all the electors. A few states, e.g. New Hampshire (?) , have other policies but they are, by far, the exception not the rule.
