Anybody need some rain? I'll share!

I check my rain gauge every day at 1300 (1:00 Pacific).

Between 1000 and 1300, got 9/10s of an inch and it is coming down harder!

Kinda damp, but don't have to wash the Yukon or water the lawn!

We haven't had any measurable rain in almost a month. Even Hurricane Matthew didn't hit the metro area much.

Couple months ago. We got six inches here....in two hours. We could use 9/10 here now since everything is so dry, and the Autumn fire season is in full effort.

Maine has been having a drought (until lately). They have two wells where my eldest son lives (one is quite deep) and both were very low.

But the rain has arrived and snow will follow. Water levels in the wells are rising so it's better.

We've been getting a bit of rain nearly every day. Weird.

Sorry if I've asked this before, but where in Maine are you? My husband's family is from Belgrade Lakes, (settled right after the Revolutionary War) and we go there every year.

One spot up US 199 along the Smith River (CA), Gasquet, got 12 inches in one day a couple of weeks
ago! That day we got 4.75 here.
