Tough call BD!

Namath was a one-shot wonder, never successful after that SB win.
How he rates the Hall of Fame is beyond me.

Trump's upset was in the cards, though. I'll give him time to show his mettle.

Namath gave the AFL legitimacy against what was considered the "varsity" NFL. My mother swore the game was fixed. The two leagues merged shortly thereafter. It was a big deal at the time.

Namath was a good QB with shot knees in an era where a shot knee meant game over. Players didn't last like they do now.

Jury's out on Trump. I want him to do all that sh*t he said he could.

I agree he was good. But in my mind's eye, not HOF good.

Yeah but you're a Redskins fan. Automatic disqualification from judgement calls. ;)

Heck, I misread this. I thought you were talking about Joe Montana. I think he had bigger upset than Joe Namath but still not as big as what Trump pulled off.

LOL... Joe Namath wishes he was as good as Brady... with or without pantyhose

Did the Baltimore Colts repeatedly shoot themselves in the foot?

I do believe some of them cried and whined afterwards.

I hadn't heard. Professional football players back then wouldn't seem the whining type.

I see pro football players cry almost every single year after a SB loss. I see every year folks whining about referees and other players and such.

Similar to an election. I see folks out there literally crying, and then whining about how the votes were counted and whining about the participants.

I feel like a fan with their team winning the SB this year. None of the crying and whining matters to me, just makes me happier, and makes me want to go out and buy a championship hat!!

Yes, they do. Even the losing team reached the top but just didn't make it over. Whining football players don't look very good IMO.

I don't think so.

Then Joe Namath. :thumb:

Pffft! Blow it out your ass!

I thought Roger Staubach was a great QB, and he was a Cowboy!
