Though I do understand the compulsion to offer condolences, I'm not looking for sympathy tonight. We all know how these relationships end. With tears and a hole in the heart...

She lived a long happy life with good loving owners. I share your feelings... http://www.kolobok.us/smiles/standart/sad.gif

None of the condolences that you do not want.

You have memories of a fine companion that will never leave you.

I am not a dog person, but all of my cats I had to bury are still with me
in heart and mind.

I hope that helps!

I believe there is a doggy heaven! I feel the hole in your heart, if it wasn't there, she wouldn't have been such a joy.

I know your pain, HJ, been there. 18 years is one hell of a good run, though, especially with good, loving owners.

Our German Shepherd is soon to follow, I'm afraid.

I know how you felt, HJ, you've told me before. That's how animal lovers feel. 18 years - lots of time in there to spoil and have made her be the queen of the house. Our pets make us all better people. :)

Since you don't want sympathy, I won't say I'm sorry, or that I know how you are feeling.

There, I didn't say it.

I'll just say, "Good Dog"
